Fast Food🏃🏻♀️
Haven’t had wing stop in a few years so I ordered in for dinner, and I honestly cannot remember why would I ever do this to myself. I’ve truly been missing out on all this deliciousness for so long. I particularly enjoyed how simple but flavourful the Louisiana rub on the boneless wings were. The signature cajun and garlic rub was delightfully tantalising on the tastebuds, and while admittedly the layer of skin was not crispy (probably because of the delivery timeframe), the chicken was sufficiently juicy and tender for me. Added on ranch dip on the side and it just became an amalgamation of all the flavours I love.

Cheese, ranch, and cajun seasoning loaded onto my fries. This was such a guilty pleasure that I really can’t ask for more. Being a pretty accessible fast-food chain, I am definitely going to be patronising Wingstop for their voodoo fries more often.

Dangerously addictive onion rings! The exterior isn’t your usual breaded coating, but rather, of a thin, golden crispiness which made it somehow a more welcomed texture for me. Perhaps because it didn’t feel overwhelmingly floury, which really helped to make it a better onion ring experience.

I always go back to the burger that never disappoints. I always go for the smokeshack instead of the shackburger because I simply love the combination of cherry peppers and their special shacksauce, which gives a bit of sourness and spice in the burger.

I am definitely coming back to GBTB's Shake Shack for this. I loved how everything came together in between 2 buns for a burst of garlicky flavour (that was just right). Some may say that the garlic flavour here isn't the strongest, but I personally thought that anything more may have been too overwhelming, and that the taste was just right for me. The sauteed portobello mushrooms really hit the nail on the head together with the juicy beef patty and provolone cheese. And the fried shallots really did their trick by adding their extra crunch texture in the burger. If you love all things garlic, you have to try this.

The roasted garlic fries were generously slathered with garlic mayo and parmesan cheese. If you desire a stronger garlic taste in your meal, get this! It might get a little overwhelming, but how can anyone get too much of the golden ingredient?

When I crave something light, comforting, yet appetising, Shihlin’s Oyster Mee Sua are of my go-to options. The (in)convenient thing about Shihlin Street Snacks is that it is meant to be takeaway - so I tend to buy it back when I know I want to enjoy it in the comfort of my own home. For $4.90, this bowl is served with a generous portion of already-cut Mee Sua noodles in a silky broth that is extremely flavourful. With vinegar and chilli - you get both the sour and spicy kick, making the dish just so appetising even when you’re not hungry🤣
Perhaps after this, you’d have to prepare yourself with their side of chicken cutlet to fulfill the hunger the Mee Sua caused you!

Portion and size of this was really worth the price! Because of the nature of the food donki suggests microwaving it before consumption. However, items like katsus and karages won’t be crispy anymore. In this case it was a pity that the chicken katsu wasn’t as crisp as we’d like it to be. But the curry was pretty good nonetheless.

This set serves the exact same omu soba reviewed previously, but with the set it comes with chicken karage and 3 takoyaki balls. I really liked the Octopus takoyaki for some reason. However, the chicken was no longer crispy anymore, and microwaving it won’t help. But there isn’t much choice in this so..😅

One of the lucky ones who got this at promotion price of $4.40, price stated above is usual price. This omu soba was really tasty — noodles were both sweet and savoury are the same time, egg was drenched in teriyaki and mayonnaise glaze which complemented the noodles really well. The egg was also really thick and delicious in its own right. However, the portion of pork was really pathetic. It seemed like it only had 2 slices. Nonetheless, it is a quick and pretty affordable meal to have; but I’ll probably go for their other stuff the next time!

Only people who have tried this will understand when I say that this chicken biryani seriously gets you REAL GOOD! Just because it’s from 7-11 doesn’t make it any less legit, or any less delicious. And with all the biryanis I’ve eaten at coffee shops, this can easily be on par with them! This butter chicken biryani is both buttery and spicy, with chicken chunks soaked in the thick gravy. The amount of basmati rice was good, but I just wished there was more chicken and the gravy to be spicier. But for $3.90, what more can I ask?
Mindblowing standards for a microwaveable quick fix🤤

This was slightly better in terms of flavour compared to the Yakiniku rice burger. It had more complex nodes of flavour to it - not just salty, but slightly creamy, peppery taste, which went well with the prawns and vegetables in it. If you eat seafood, you should probably try this over the beef!
