Sammies And Sandos

@thestacksg is a rather new place serving coffee, sandwiches and waffles too! We had the sandos and coffee, the coffee was good because they use @dutchcolony's coffee which was robust and not acidic. The spam and egg and egg sando was nice but I feel that it didn't stand out much compared to all the other spam egg sandos I've had 😅 the Puff Puff, which has smoked salmon, pesto cream cheese, kale, onion and nori, was a bit more unique but the flavours were rather mild and not delivered as expected from what we saw on the menu. The bagels were good though, they were my favourite parts of the sandwiches 😋 dining here was enjoyable with a bright interior and a lot of natural light for photos too!

@bforbagel_official offers a wide variety of bagel flavours. I went on a weekday afternoon and it was still crowded (though there wasn't much of a queue) and the flavour I originally wanted (Bacon Cheese Omelette) was sold out so I had Jamon Butter instead! This looked simple but the ingredients complemented each other well and I enjoyed it a lot. I had this with a Salted Caramel Latte and I liked it more than I expected with the right balance of salty, sweet going together with the coffee flavours. I hope to be back to try the Bacon Cheese Omelette Bagel soon! 🤤

The kimchi grilled cheese had vegan cheese in it and it was a good combination with their tasty kimchi which my friend really loved. I would have liked more cheese in this but it was still good 😋

Loving how there's now a @helloarigato.official in my area to add to my sandwich options! I had the tamago sando which has a generous portion of egg packed between fluffy bread, along with a side of tater tots as well! The portion size is rather large so it was very filling too 😋

Tried the new gud am sunshine sanga from @bloom.withcoffee that is made of bloom-made spicy mayo, spam, omelette with cheese & mixed greens. The entire sandwich was flavourful and there was a good portion of cheese in it too 😋

@twomenbagelhouse's Personal Best with jalapeño cheese bagel 😋😋 a combination of my favourite things along with that spicy kick from both the spicy aioli and the jalapeños 😍

Seeing @sogoodcctsg's menu reminded me a lot about Hong Kong and I had their egg and luncheon meat sandwich with a HK milk tea. It was nice with the bread buttered and toasted nicely but I do wish there was more fluffy eggs and cheese in the sandwich 😅 The HK milk tea was smooth and fragrant while not too sweet as well. Maybe I should try the other things if I visit again next time.

Had the scrambled egg sandwich with spam from @lowef.co to make up for the sandwich I had previously 😅 I love how the fluffy brioche and scrambled eggs along with spam and cheese made it a very satisfying sandwich and I enjoyed it a lot indeed 😋

I love egg sandwiches and had to try this by Origin + Bloom when I saw it. It was a pity the bread was dry (from them keeping the entire sandwich chilled) but there was a large serving of egg mayo plus the onsen eggs added flavour to this too!

The lobster roll had fresh lobster chunks with lemon mayo between fluffy buttery brioche buns. I would have preferred it without the mayo but I did like the garlic butter sauce on the side.

Finally tried @lukeslobstersg and it was great that we preordered it so we didn't have to queue. The lobster roll was delicious with the buttery brioche and the tender lobster chunks and it held well until we got home. I enjoyed this and I felt like this is as good a lobster roll of this price can get. I can get why there are complaints about the amount of lobster in the rolls because the serving size here seemed to be more like the regular sized roll I had in Japan compared to the US size.

I rarely choose something without meat in it when there are so many yummy meat options but this was really good with the cheese, kale and mushroom going together well with the chewy sourdough 😋 Love how the tater tots were nice and crispy too! Swipe to see a closeup of the sandwich!
