The draw of this nasi lemak has got to be the rice! Itās very fragrant and flavourful with the coconut and pandan aroma infused. The chicken is not as juicy as I like, but I like the flavour of the crunchy skin / batter. The meat is not too dry so itās still ok. Otah was very soft and p legit, a little like those you get in a peranakan restaurant. Itās not the fishcake type. Was sad that the begedil wasnāt crisp. It tasted quite meh. Chilli not super spicy, was on the sweeter side.
Egg was freshly fried so it was still piping hot, yolks were pretty cooked as expected. Ikan bilis and peanuts were crunchy!
Itās not bad, I liked it! If only their chicken was juicier.
A decent place for Nasi Lemak. I enjoyed the sweet & fiery chilli that was great with rice, and the crunchy topping was good as well. The beef rendang however, was extremely tough, so skip that and go for the chicken instead, which fared much better.
The rice smelled fragrant, and was rather healthy (not very lemak) but I like it! The ikan was good and crisp but very salty so it should be eaten with the rice. Chilli was just nice - spicy n sweet. Their curry veg was not bad too! Chicken and egg were very normal. Overall, a decent plate of nasi lemak, and I would return as I liked the chilli and ikan :)
Rice was fluffy and delicious, without being too oily. I would have preferred for them to be more heavy handed with the ālemak-nessā though, but I still liked the rice. The chicken wasnāt dry, and had the nice crispy bits (the batter I think). Enjoyed the crunchy ikan bilis as well! The portion was very generous.
Shoutout to our waiter for being very friendly and welcoming!
