This stall has been an institution since its days at Shenton Way Golden Bridge. Unfortunately, it’s current location is much less accessible. But the food is still cheap and good!
Roast chicken drumstick (comes with thigh meat as well), braised egg and their unique sauce on rice that is fragrant and not too oily. Only $4.
Glad I had this just before the export ban on Malaysia’s live chickens come into force tomorrow.
Another well executed dish at Caffe Zeppin. The fried rice is flavourful (in my opinion, comparable to Ding Tai Fung’s fried rice). The accompanying meat patty is tender and well seasoned.
Nothing special about this but a very decently executed egg dish that has that homely feel about it.
I had wanted to try out this hidden jem of a cafe at Midview City for quite a while but didn’t have the chance to as it doesn’t open on Sundays.
The Lu Rou Fan tastes very decent, with soft and flavourful braised pork paired with a nice braised egg.
The menu is extensive and many other items look interesting. I will definitely be back!
