This is our first ever day trip to JB and im not familiar on where to get the best deal for durian, but lucky grab driver is soo kind, she was the one who advised us to go look for durians at KSL Pasar Malam instead .

The price is definitely more expensive in JB rather than if you go to durian plantation at Pontian .

However, considering the time, effort and transportation incurred to bring this goodies to the city seems fair tho. But at KSL Pasar Malam, you can catch a better deal! . ✨✨✨.

We took KTM to JB Sentral and it only took us around 15mins to reach KSL Monday Night Market. Arrived at around 3pm here and man, the weather might be a little on the hotter side .

If you plan to come here, I would recommend to come at 4pm its so much better .

But the food here is awesome tho! Here are some of our favourites ✨✨✨ .

🦐✨🔥 Char Kway Tiao with Cockles and Prawn .
This shop is located just a stones throw away from Ah Tong Durian, so we decided to try it after venturing around KSL Monday night market .

The charred taste is real with this one ✨🔥✨🔥✨. Really like just how the prawns are also still soo succulent and flavourful. Serving is so fast and the portion is generous! .

I know, I know, after every glorious food from KSL Monday night market it will be hard to fit this in, but trust me, at least just try 😋😋😋

Lo and behold, the king of fruits ✨✨✨ .
Honestly I don’t eat durian much at Singapore coz my husband is not a big fan of it. This is the first durian in 3 years, can you imagine.. .

The durian on the previous post is great and just as nice as this. But the first bite into this gorgeous food, its just soo fulfilling! .

Its so meaty and the seed is so smol. ✨✨✨The taste is bittersweet and strong .

Definitely try some durians here or at KSL Monday Night Market. However do come before 3.30pm, as most of it is sold already! .
Ah Tong is open for biz from 12pm ✨😋
