Mouth watering dish š¤¤ Perfect combination of spice and crisp. I can eat this over and over! I wanna be back for more!
Honestly not expecting much from a āWestern-Asianā fusion cafe but this is surprisingly good! Beef was cooked well and the sauce resembles teriyaki, but not too sweet. The way they made the egg is so cute and itās a nice surprise to get a lava egg yolk š Highly recommend to use Burpple for the 1-for-1 deal!
I chose the small bowl option which comes with a choice of 1 carb, 1 protein and 2 toppings.
My order:
šø Cha Soba (with soba sauce)
šø Sichuan Spiced Pork Collar (120g)
šø Blanched broccoli
šø SautĆ©ed Cajun King Mushrooms
The soba has a slight wasabi taste which made me choke when I paired it with the Sichuan spiced pork. šŖ The spiced pork was interesting but I was expecting it to be stir fried in Sichuan mala (oily) style. Instead the rub on it is more of some spicy powdered seasoning, maybe because they are trying to keep the calorie count low? š¤
My favourite is the king mushrooms - they are juicy and cooked well. Highly recommended! šš»
This is part of the premium pizza series with green tea dough. The green tea flavour is not quite present so itās not weird at all š¤Ŗ I love how chewy the dough is! It is much better than the kinds sold in the mainstream pizza chains.
This pizza flavour has all the winning ingredients of marinated chicken, chicken ham, broccoli, mushrooms, onions and cherry tomatoes. This could just be my favourite pizza of all time š
The laksa pasta ($12.90++) is SO GOOD. Is it strange to say that when I crave for laksa, I would think of having the laksa pasta here? Every strand of linguine is well coated with laksa paste which made the dish super flavourful. The fried tau pok gave it an extra crunch which is nice āŗļø
The boss is super friendly and genuine too - we wanted to do takeaway as the cafe was crowded and didnāt want to wait. He told us that he rather not sell us the food by takeaway as it will not taste as good. In the end we stayed in the queue and he managed to give us a table after a 10min wait. Highly recommend to dine here šš»
Spicy chicken glass noodle @ $10
I like that this place is halal certified as I could hang out here with my friends :) Always tend to order this as I enjoy slurping on the glass noodles dipped with their interesting sauces. Spicy chicken marinate gives an extra kick in this dish šš»
Ordered this as part of their Weekday Lunch Set ($15++ for a main + drink). The dish is packed with umami flavour and the serving for unagi is generous. Overall a delightful meal at a gorgeous setting.
