Claypot Rice
One of my favourite claypot rice.
Chicken meat were tender and their salted fish infused rice smells and tasted damn good.
$15 portion is actually rather small for 2 pax. 2 pax must go for $20 & above man.
Yuan yuan at ABC is rather elusive, they only opened from Fridays to Mondays, and only during dinner time.
Chicken so tender, I thought I was eating fish.
Chicken well marinated also, very tasty and is rather popular with the jurong west crowd. A friend of mine that previously stayed In jurong west will frequent this store often.
This $19 portion maybe not enough for 2, Next time get $25 for 2 pax.
No garlic or chicken rice chilli provided here. Only chilli paid and soya sauce.

Quite a solid claypot chicken rice.
Only chicken Drumsticks are used here, so meat was tender. Generous amount of sausages.
Chilli was also damn shiok.
If I was staying at Bukit Batok, I will definitely eat this regularly.
Cheap and Good. Must add $1 for additional salted fish. Was rather surprised how good this was, and I was not expecting much from a foodcourt food as well.
Chicken was tender too
Served with blanchan.
And it's Halal too.
Claypot Chicken Rice @ $13/$24
Le Char Siew, as I know most Singaporean pronounce it this way; serves excellent Claypot Chicken Rice.
Le Chasseur is ever present in everyone's list of top 10 claypot Rice in Singapore.
They used to be located near clark quay central way back in 2013.
Unlike other places, long grain Basmati Rice is used in their claypot chicken rice.
Chicken meat used here are boneless, salted fish portions are generous as well.
Overall 4/5 for me, its so good, I actually came back the next day to eat it again, since I was nearby.
Returned again to Dian Lao Er. This time decided to have their signature claypot chicken rice.
This was way better than the premium claypot rice that I had previously. And cheaper too.
This claypot chicken rice was served with boneless chicken thigh, so easy to eat, and so tender.
The claypot rice here is really not bad. Can try.
Don't forget to a plate of their chilli sauce. Damn good. And goes very well with the chicken and rice.
Located in the same coffee shop as the popular 88 Hong Kong roasted meats.
Decided to give it a try this time. Got the premium claypot rice@$9.80.
It was fairly good. Filled with generous amount of sausages, pork belly.
Read many reviews about how good their sesame chicken is, will give that a try next time.

The normal claypot chicken rice was priced at $6.50, so fairly affordable as well.
Their chilli sauce was quite good.

Xin xin is located at the back row of kovan 209 hawker.
Their claypot rice is genuinely one of the better claypot rice I had.
Chicken was soft and tender.
Entire dish was very flavourful. Especially the generous portion of salted fish.

Broadway have 2 varieties of chicken to choose from. The kampong chicken is slightly more expensive and smaller.
Today decided to get the normal chicken, $10 portion.
Generous amount of salted fish which made this claypot rice taste so good.
The chicken also fresh, tender and taste good.
The only thing missing here is a chilli to eat this with. The chilli provided is for their bak kut teh.
$12 portion.
Cooked with salted egg and salted fish, this claypot Rice was certainly flavourful.
Chicken was boneless which just makes this so easy to eat.
The chilli provided was quite explosive.

With an origin story link to lian he ben ji, expectations were High on my part. Definitely did not disappoint.
Portion was quite big for $10, just nice for a big eater like me.
Salted fish amount was just right, chicken was soft and tender.

So claypot rice have no pork whatsoever, tasted a little blend. Will be much nicer with some salted fish.
Will also be better if some chicken rice chilli provided with the claypot rice as well
