Matcha 🍵

The glorious 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚(~$5), which is made from matcha powder from Kyoto, was best described as ‘coming home after a long day to the comfort of your bed’. Served at the perfect warm temperature instead of scalding hot (the way many places do it), the matcha powder melds well with the milk without clumping.

Velvety and light, this matcha latte was sweeter than your typical bitter brews, yet not sweet like your flavoured lattes.

Consider ditching neighbour Hvala once for this: you might be surprised 🥰

First time trying Tsujiri out and I had the 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 (~$5.50) 🍵 Found Tsujiri’s take on this drink sweeter than Hvala’s and Matchaya’s, overshadowing the matcha taste slightly.

Tsujiri’s ice blended melted REALLY quickly, and I struggled to slurp this up quickly enough. Put it next to its competitors and I personally feel Tsujiri falls short — I prefer Hvala’s ice blended

This has been everywhere but it was late soooo I got a Iced Matcha Latte (~$9.60) instead of a coffee! 🍵☕️

Matcha Latte was flavourful and matcha taste was rich without being too filling and thick, not too sweet which I loved 😋 Latte was really milky and SUPER SMOOTH!! It got milkier and more dilute towards the end though bc they put a lot of ice :-(

Overall pretty good and I would like to try their coffees next! But it’s pretty pricey, there’s very very limited seats outside and it’s not the most accessible so probably a treat once in awhile ☺️

Dropped by after Non Entree to have a Cold Matcha Milk (~$7); which was surprisingly good considering how it came out of a bottle? 🍵 .
It was generally quite smooth, and done better than many matcha drinks out there 😛 It leaned more towards the milkier side— being more sweet and less matcha flavoured. Still, it was good quality matcha milk that I would have again 😋
