Changi
The pork slices were seared to a level that gave a nicely barbeque flavour. The restaurant also provides sauces to go with the pork slices (my favourite was the garlic one). However, the portion was a bit too small for me. I ran out of rice too early and they only give you 3 slices of pork. The other dishes in this restaurant seem to have much larger portions.
After hearing all about the hype and yet complaints about this place, I finally decided to give it a try. The verdict? It’s a really good burger albeit a tad expensive. The beef patty is really juicy and tasty and yet not too salty. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. The sauces add to the flavour and are not too overpowering. I felt that despite the need to compete for my table to sit down, this meal was worth it. I would recommend however to get the beef or mushroom patty separately rather than in a stack as I feel that both are too good and should be enjoyed on their own.
