First meal in NYC. Dragged myself out despite enduring a 20 hour flight and badly jetlagged. Contrary to what the name of the place might suggest, this place is more famous for lobster rolls.

Was roaming around Brooklyn after a great morning at Brooklyn bridge park and headed here for brunch. Typical traditional American diner with food and affordable food. Easily one of the best Benedict’s I’ve ever had. They make it seem so effortless!

Appetiser of mozerella cheese sticks.

Badly taken pic but this was really good. Lagsane (American style with loads of feta cheese in them).

Dinner with my American Cousin. Can’t remember the name of the place as I was engrossed in engaging in a conversation with him. Portions were huge. It’s pepperoni pizza here and chicken parmigiana.

Perhaps one of the best meals I had in nyc. Chicken and beef gyro from a food truck in Manhattan - The Halal Guys. The meats were well marinated, and the basmati rice fragrant. Not forgetting the firm pita. They deserve all the hype! It was sinfully good and so cheap! And yes, please don’t underestimate the hot sauce. Crazy spicy! The white sauce is TO DIE FOR.

Lobster Mac N cheese - came here on the recommendation of a colleague and there’s been quite a bit of hype about this place on Instagram. Surprisingly the place was empty (I went about 4pm) and the portions were much smaller than I expected. The place itself is small. But lobsters were fresh.

Can’t emphasise how huge the portion is and how good the pasta was. Amazing. The waiter couldn’t stop scooping parmesan onto my plate. And that really crisp refreshing glass of Chardonnay. At Il Cortile in NYC’s Little Italy.

Cool place in the city for brunch and drinks at night. Dropped by for scotch eggs. A little over cooked but the mustard was bomb.

Another cheesecake from Junior’s. Raspberry swirl! It was SO good. One of the best I’ve had. Another cheesecake that I remember was really good was at Bertel’s Salon in Copenhagen.

Gelato with a pretzel cone in NYC. Took a really long walk in Brooklyn to get here. The reward - this huge scoop of gelato was given to me free because the cashier was locked!

What’s going to the US without having lobster rolls? This was from Luke’s Lobster. Very fresh lobster on a warm bun. Would’ve preferred the bun to be slightly toasted though.
