Wouldn't have thought portobello curry would taste this good! But the magic to this was having the mushrooms cooked separately. Would slurp this up again and again!
I personally loved the cod fish potato fritters & the prawns. Rest were average.
Simple & flavourful, a really surprisingly decent rendition. Love the amount of spiciness in this.
This was amazing!!! Loved the marriage of flavours.
Dining out of the office for once... In a long time. The noodles and chicken were fantastic! Wait for a bit long and our orders were missed during lunch time. But we would come back again as it's that good!
When the dessert chef insists you have desserts before mains, you simply don't refuse! This was soooo good warm! And such a nice local fusion dessert - topped with a creamy not too sweet vanilla sauce, this was nice and eggy with a surprise dark chocolate base. So much love for this! (don't tell but I so had two portions of this! even on a carb restricted diet) definitely order if you find it on the menu (we had this as part of an event, so unsure if this is on the normal menus)
First time's a charm when we shared the food tasting portion but 2nd time wasn't great. A bit too cloyingly rich & oily. Maybe they don't do well with group catering
This was surprisingly pretty alright even if the dressing was only olive oil
You wouldn't know its a pretzel unless you were told. Tasted more like pasta and even on my limited carbs diet, couldn't resist a 2nd helping
Read the menu description and expected this to be topped with fish but still retain the turnips at the base, but it was all fish and so interestingly awesome. Could go back for this alone! (part of a food tasting for a work thing which we're hosting at Frieda, so this may not be available there usually but perhaps the Alvin Leong restaurant?)
Thick, creamy black glutinous rice, almost a pudding. Would have preferred this piping hot instead of just warm
