Taiwanese
Lu rou fan ($15.90++)
Not the best rendition of lu rou fan around. The bajiao taste was abit too strong, and the lu rou was not impressive. Overall didnt feel it was worth the price.
Taiwanese Sausage Meat Patties ($10+):
Patties are so juicy and sweet with a slight charred taste! Goes perfectly with their chilli sauce with a bowl of rice!
Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0 ($10+):
Chicken was very flavorful with many depths of flavor coming from the burnt chilli, kaffir lime leave, ginger and some other ingredients. Goes well with their chilli sauce and shiny rice!
Salt pepper chicken ($5.90)
Quite a big plate as side. The chicken was quite crispy on the outside but because they used breast meat, it was quite tasteless and dry inside. Only edible with the chilli sauce, otherwise too dry. Could do with more of the salt and pepper seasoning also.
Honey chicken rice ($8.80)
Chicken is fried but still moist. Flavouring wise it is marinated well. Makes for a good meal with the minced meat sauce over the rice and comes with a braised egg and pickles.
Passion aiyu drink ($3.90)
Passion fruit had a siap aftertaste though. Aiyu jelly was quite nice. Overall might not order again.
Fried Chicken ($5.90):
Fried chicken was marinaded with salted and pepper. Quite well balanced and well fried.
3 Cups Chicken Rice ($7.90):
Dish was average and nothing really special about it. Goes quite well with rice
Lychee & Aloe Vera ($3.90): Not too sweet and they are generous with the aloe vera. 1-for-1 Burpple (main + snack + drink)
Braised pork noodles ($6.50) from Formosa Delights.
Noodles are nicely cooked and not soggy. Still has a nice bite. Braised pork was not too minced and has a good meat to fat ratio. Comes with one whole braised egg. Whole bowl of noodles was very pleasant to eat!
Burnt Chilli Chicken Rice Bowl ($11.00+):
They used short grained japanese rice. Onsen egg was runny. The burnt chilli chicken is not as flavorful as i would have like.
However, their other rice bowls (lu rou fan, pork chop rice) are rather delicious
Pork Chop Rice Set ($13.80): Pork Chop rice, free flow drink & an appetizer
✅ Pork chop is crispy and seasoned well. It goes very well with the chilli and onsen egg!
✅ Free flow drink (either sour plum or honey lime juice)
✅ Value for money
