Name: S’mores Ice Cream Waffle
Price:~$15
Thoughts: Chose smth like Apple pie flavoured ice cream. The ice cream was pretty sweet and with the combination of the s’mores and chocolate cream, everything just becomes extremely sweet and gelat. Not rly my type unless you got a sweet tooth!
Verdict:3.5/5
Name: Soft Serve Waffle Icecream
Price: ~$16
Thoughts: Soft serve only had one type- Hojicha. As a fan of green tea, definitely love the hojicha ice cream as it isnt very bitter. Hojicha taste was light but the smell was pretty strong! Yuan yang waffles had to be topped up for an additional dollar but just your regular Belgium styled waffles. Nothing special. Overall appearance was good and mixing the foods tgt aka waffle with chocolate sauce and icecream makes the whole dessert perfect! Not too sweet until it becomes GAO!
Verdict: 4/5
Dish: Original Pancakes
Price: ~$12
Thoughts: The pancakes were really light and fluffy. Like a soufflé except in the form of pancakes. Vanilla ice cream and marshmallows were added on at additional cost. Otherwise just the pancakes alone w maple syrup and butter wld b $7 aft GST and Service Charge. Ice cream was a good addition as the cold ice cream melts together w the warm pancakes and maple syrup. (DIABETES ALERT‼️) Marshmallows were a bad choice as they do not complement the pancakes at all.
Verdict: 4/5
Dish: Fish and Chips
Price ~ $17
Thoughts: Really just your average Fish and Chips. Nothing fancy about it though the fries were quite crispy and non salted, just to my liking. Portion of fish was just nice but fries a lil too little. (since it’s the only nice food)
Verdict: 3.5/5 (pricey but then again its town area)
Dish: Truffle Pasta
Price: ~$18
Thoughts: Truffle smell was v fragrant and sauce was extremely creamy. However portion was pretty little for price paid (aft GST and Service charge). Mushrooms and ham was just okay.
Verdict: 3.5/5 (pricey)
Dish name: IMPOSSIBLE BURGER
Price: $26.50
Thoughts: The vegan patty was by far the closest to beef out of all the other vegan beef patty I have ever tasted and honestly q surprised. Sweet Potato fries were crispy and sweet and doesn’t go soggy fast when cold. Bun was average.
Verdict: 4/5
Dish: Pad Thai
Price: $12
Thoughts: Reasonable pricing, pad Thai was surprisingly pleasing. It is sweet but not too sweet and the green Chili provided goes very well with it. Making it sweet spicy And savoury all at once.
Verdict: 4/5 (place was a lil hard to find)
Dish: Chicken Pad Thai
Price: $8
Thoughts: Pretty affordable in CBD area. However the pad Thai was a little too sweet in my opinion. It also feels like it is missing out something that I couldn’t quite pinpoint that most pad Thai I have eaten in Singapore have.
Verdict: 3/5 (just cause it’s affordable and fast)
Dish: Chicken Green Curry
Price: $8
Thoughts: Also equally affordable. However it seems a little off from the usual green curry I ordered everywhere else. Might be cause there’s no milk in this green curry. Not really to my liking.
Verdict: 2.5/5
This dessert is definitely my go to when I want to feel less guilty when having sweet treats. It is definitely filling and a large cup was actually way too much for me as there was just way too much peanut butter. (Btw went for nutty party and thought peanut butter was the sauce that probably suit this the most) I usually go for the small cup and it is enough to satisfy my cravings. Was only trying the large cup because of Burpple Beyond. But overall still love it!
Got the spicy minced meat with mixed vegetables dry ramen. Serving portion was just nice for one person to finish w/o having to add on. Entire dish was very delicious and worth it for $12.80 ++before beyond. Would recommend!
