The chicken was crispy and flavourful and I liked the sambal chilli that went well with the coconut rice too! 😋 This place might be a little out of the way but there are cafes in the area too so that made the trip more worth it ☺️
The chilli was so fragrant though it set my stomach on fire haha. The ikan bilis were crispy and the noodles were springy. It’s quite expensive for Malaysia though at about RM8 per bowl! But it was yummy 😋
This is actually black sesame mixed peanut paste (RM4.50). I liked how both weren’t too sweet and not too thick that it gets jelat too! It was nice that the owner still did latte art on top of the desserts too.
We had to wait 40 minutes for this because there were quite many people there then. There wasn’t much chicken in this but this was cheap so I have no complaints. The rice was so crispy at the bottom and it was good!
Came here because we were told this place is famous for their Hainan tea and toast! The toast was crispy and came with generous servings of kaya and butter but I thought the tea wasn’t that impressive. I would come back for the toast but I would have my tea somewhere else instead.
The popiah looks very ordinary. But it has crispy bits inside it. The filling was flavourful and fragrant too! 😋
I got one plate of chilli sweet sauce and a curry one. The chilli sweet sauce was a bit sweet and didn’t stand out for me. I really liked the curry one though! It was slightly spicy and the cheong fun was so smooth and silky. I wasn’t planning to eat so much but I ate a lot of it in the end 😂 These two plates cost me RM25 which was quite worth it because each plate has 2 blocks of cheong fun each.
ICC Pudu has a wide variety of food stalls which makes it difficult to decide where to eat at. I tried this stall because I saw a long queue and decided to join it. The tea was really smooth and has a unique taste to it. They were also really thick and the iced version wasn’t diluted at all. These two cups cost RM4. I would think this is a lot better than Ah Weng Koh’s tea, which is more expensive and supposedly more famous.
Namelaka patisserie sells cakes that look like fruits which have real fruits inside and more! The flavours was quite subtle but the textures were great with the crispy outer shell and the creamy layer with the crunchy fruits at the core. We were also told they don’t add sugar and get the sweetness from the white chocolate cream and the fruit inside. Namelaka means creamy texture in Japanese and they truly live up to their name indeed with their nice and light cream in their desserts
Namelaka patisserie sells cakes that look like fruits which have real fruits inside and more! This is one of their best sellers (RM21). The textures were good and the pear flavour was so fragrant! I really liked this. Namelaka means creamy texture in Japanese and they certainly lived up to their name with their light white chocolate cream.
Namelaka patisserie sells cakes that look like fruits which have real fruits inside and more! This is one of their best sellers (RM21). The lemon’s flavours are really strong so it was suggested that we have this after a sweet dessert. This was rather sour but so refreshing. It has mint in it too! I really liked this. Namelaka means creamy texture in Japanese and they certainly lived up to their name.
This was quite interesting to me because I usually just eat pork belly in its own. The dish was tasty and the fatty parts were juicy too.
