Looking at this photo makes me wanna head right back to this place. I dare say this is is amongst the best char siew & roast meat in SG. Itās an unassuming little store nestled in a coffee shop, but the queue quickly grew long while we were there. This plate of assorted meat (we swapped out the roast duck for more char siew) was $17. It was every bit worth it & the fats were melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Iām already looking forward to coming back here again!
This is my first time here and we really enjoyed our meal. We ordered the Kuay Pie Tee ($17) and Ngoh Hiang ($18) for starters. I especially loved the Kuay Pie Tee as the cup was perfectly crispy and the filling was tasty with the sweet sauce! Ordered a variety of Nyonya dishes to go with jasmine rice - Babi Pong Tay ($19), Beef Rendang ($25) and Chap Chye ($16). The standout for me was the Babi Pong Tay - the fatty pork belly went amazingly well with the bean paste. We also ordered the Chicken Curry with Roti Jala ($24) which was average. Special mention to the Dry Laksa ($25) which was flavourful & spicy. Ended off the meal with some desserts including cakes and ice-cream which were decent as well. The service & ambience was good. Would return againš
Queue was really long (40 mins) but well worth the wait!
Business was really good and we had to take a queue number and wait about 30 mins! Different portions size available ranging from $6 up to $30.
Not bad but not sure if it lives up to its hype. Also had to queue on a weekend!
