Caution: this one’s strong! Think a generous amount of gin, lemon basil and cucumber — expect a refreshing but punchy tipple that will creep up on you unknowingly. If stronger drinks are your thing, this is right up your alley.
A surprisingly good find! Didn’t expect much from this as Milksha doesn’t claim to specialise in Brown Sugar MT, but this one was smooth, creamy and harboured a nice roasted aftertaste! The pearls are chewy and not too cloying as well.
Imagine a sophisticated, upscale version (with a much more spacious dig) of The Affogato Bar housed in Cluny Court and you’ve got The Affogato Lounge! The decor here is super aesthetic and oozing with chill but semi-luxe vibes — a good place to do work at or for a post-meal dessert date.
Pictured here is the Dark Mocha, which was delicious — smooth, with just the right balance of sweet and bitter undertones. Would totally be back for another cup of this!
Comfort in a cup. Fresh steamed milk which balanced out the strong bitter matcha notes just a tad — just how I like it.
Loved the buzzy vibes and great service here. plus points for good, albeit erratic, music choice too. House whisky was nice — a little bit smoky without being too overpowering with a smooth finish. Did not try the coke and rum that my friend had, but she mentioned that it was strong enough. All in all, a good experience and would come back! Got these two drinks with 1-for-1 on Burpple Beyond. Super worth it.
Warning: this is a strong drink! Not for the faint of heart or untrained drinker. That being said, this made for a wonderful palate cleanser – refreshing, fizzy and potent enough to keep spirits high before going at the next course.
Creamy and slightly savoury cream cheese, thick enough to withstand dissolving into the fragrant oolong tea at the bottom, yet without being overly cloying. Genius, and extremely delish. Would come back again for this. Pro tip: do not stir this with a straw, and trust this joint’s pre-concocted sugar level of their foam teas, as I usually ask for less sugar in my bbts, but I didn’t this time and the sweetness level of the oolong complemented the cheese foam to the t(ea).
Now I understand the hype about this place — the ingredients used here are extremely fresh, and do not scrimp on quality at all. Hands down best foam bbtea drink I’ve had here in sg.
Another winner here. Love how the matcha milk tea was not too sweet and gelled well with the cheese foam atop. Could tell that the matcha powder used here is of good quality as well. Don’t expect potent matcha tea notes though, as this was slightly on the milkier side, which is not a bad thing, it just depends on your preference!
Beautiful. Nicely balanced with refreshing hints of yuzu from Choya Yuzu Liquer, slight fizziness from soda, yet enough kick from the Naked Grouse Whisky. Just how I like my drinks — citrusy with a sharp edge.
Though they may be slightly pricey, we enjoyed the drinks very much! Milky with hints of strong tea notes, both of the lattes offered a rounded, bittersweet balance. Heads up, their drinks are 1-for-1 with #BurppleBeyond, so you can actually get two of these for just $6.50! Why the heck not?!
This joint claims to specialise in Hong Kong style noodles but this unassuming milk tea stole the show for me — strong tea profile with a milky depth redolent of the ones I had in HK recently without being overly sweet. I’ll definitely be back just for another takeaway cup of this!
