Cafe & Desserts
Flat White (5.50) - Love the coffee here!
Legit, more than enough to satisfy your sweet tooth
Decent to satisfy your waffle cravings, it’s good but not wow-ed . ($11.50)
Can’t go wrong with fried chicken. The idea of spring pancake was bit of meh for myself ~ . It’ll be great for me if such delicious chicken sin’ was paired with thick slab of buttermilk pancakes or waffles instead. Nevertheless, still a great dish I’ve enjoyed.
($21) Consist of spring onion & corn pancake, signature crispy succulent fried chicken thigh fillet, hint of cumin, house special ranch dressing
Not the kind of Japanese pancake that I’ll expect. Would prefer something more fluffy and dense. I felt that the stacked layers were thin and compact, flavours considered mild for dessert. Overall, it doesn’t satisfy your sweet-tooth sin’ .
Banana Butterscotch Pancakes ($18.50) was sinfully DIVINE! As a pancake-fanatic myself, I’m quite a hassle when it comes to pancakes selections.
Topped with vanilla ice cream, banana slices and caramel-coated cereal. For sweet hunters, here’s a place worth the visit!
It’s been the longest time I wanted to visit this cafe. Inevitably, expectations was raised along with the wait.
Finally here with Caramel Buttermilk Waffle, Banana Butterscotch Pancakes, Truffle Fries and of course COFFEE on the table.
Salt Caramel Waffle ($12.50) was satisfying, it was not excessively topped with ingredients that complicates the taste. The waffle was dense and fluffy with layer of slight crisp exterior.
In comparison to Waffles at Strangers Reunion, Curious Palette, Populus Cafe, I would opt for this one at Columbus.
Can’t go wrong with Spam Fries ($11.50++)
Magic; double ristretto + milk ($5.50++)
Tucked along the quiet stretch of Prinsep Street, this cosy brunch spot offers brunch selection from 9am to 6pm.
For brunch-lovers like me won’t have to be worried that they’ll miss out my eggs and avo.
Had Curious Palette Breakfast ($24.50), served with honey pork belly, poached eggs, avocado, toast and mushrooms. Not the best for it’s price, but decent plate of brunch to go.
