Finally tried this! Took me a while amidst the hype regarding this cool concept. Anyway, was intrigued by the sauces eg salted egg, curry mayo, cheese etc but so disappointed by the food? š¢ Fish tasted decent but the chips were soggy when it claimed to be made on the spot? We topped up mushroom soup and drink for $4 but the soup was in a paper cup and tasted like those cheap canned ones. Would definitely not pay $21 for this :/( Maybe the one at punggol is better cause thereās the vibes but iām just not too sure about this one
Had the Swensens set meal where we could choose from 4 options and i got this! Had coffee and a single scoop of salted caramel along with it. Chicken was juicy and crispy but I felt that portion could be bigger overall. Waffle was a lil too crispy and minimal amount of honey was on it. Ice cream was decent but lacked the salt taste
Didnāt know HopHeads served lunch, always thought that its the place people drink and play beer pong HAHA. Anyway, tried the salmon omelette and they served chips. Ask them for the chilli sauce to offset the saltiness of the chips. The bread for the sandwich was a lil hard and dry but the mayo helped to make it better
Had the prawn and mushroom aglio but was v disappointed cause it tasted slightly off today. Felt that it was lacking of oil and leading to lesser fragrance. The buffalo wings were shiok though!! And also like how this outlet has no gst/service charge since itās just located at a coffee shop!
$22.90 for 1/2 chicken and 2 sides (peri peri chips and mediterranean rice) My first time at Nandos and seriously loved the service, everyone is so smiley and helpful āŗļø Chicken was tender too and I especially liked the rice though idk how mediterranean rice rly tastes like HAHA. Tried the variety of sauces too and liked the garlic one the best
mama always orders the silver fish fried rice and I ordered the burger!! think the burger tastes rather decent but thereās nothing special or great abt it. Would recommend the silver fish fried rice more āŗļø
The portion was rather large, which was a plus point cause I was starving hahaha. Anyway the fried chicken was yummy but I felt that the sauce was a lil diluted and it feels like I didnāt really have the real deal? but price is cheap, and along with the free flow ice cream + drinks, its quite worth!! They give many flavours for the ice cream but the hot drinks are all diluted ā¹ļø
Was deciding what to order and the waiter told us the best is still the Whimpy Burger. I got the beef one, whereas my bf got the Stiffee Foot Long!!! Had cranberry drink and root beer float along w it. Topped up truffle flav & (sorry i forgot what sauce) but its the beef one. Anw we felt that the truffle taste was rly strong and worth whereas the beef sauce tasted rather normal. Loved how the portion of beef in both burgers were v generous!!

but was saying this was at hawkerman!! we took 20mins to be seated and the restaurant had an interesting concept of western x asian. so the menu had things like bibimbap, chilli crab pasta, nasi lemak etcetc.
I ordered the grilled chicken ($9.90) and the chicken was soft and tender! Fries were charred though. My friends ordered bibimbap ($8.90) and chilli crab pasta, taste of the food was decent but the portion was a lil small
Waited a whopping 2h for this pasta at the Pasir Ris Hawker Centre. We were thinking that queue should be alright cause we reached at 5:30pm but were shocked to see the queue extending rather long!
We ordered the mushroom rice cause the reviews online said it was good. Sadly, i could taste more of the fried onion fragrance rather than the mushroom itself ā¹ļø The chicken was tender and moist, with the potatoes complimenting it rather well.
The highlight was definitely the vongole pasta, with the clams generously given and the strong aroma of garlic and wine infused in the pasta sauce!
Price of the food was v affordable too, with the chicken and pasta being < $8!!!!! WORTH
