Food Hunt In Bali
Mornin bliss is having a splendid breakfast before starting on anything. So letās have Omelette de Abruzzo thatās blasted with stracciatella, green olive, semi-dried tomatoes, basil, and grilled focaccia at the side.
Sea Circus has aĀ vibrant interior with an upbeat atmosphere like in a circus! Heading there early for breakfast was a good choice as it gets quite swamped by afternoon.
Food wise there isn't much to get excited about though I love theirĀ Hippie Lane Bowl (IDR85). Think of it as healthy peanut butter smoothie bowl. Made peanut butter, banana, chia seeds and soy milk, each bite is filled with creamy nutty flavours. Plus itās sporting some really cute banana stars!
Start each day fresh! Feeling more refresh with Monkey Business thatās made of banana, yogurt, organic honey and fresh milk.
A popular venue since the bar, which is perched atop a cliff against the distinctive rock formations and crashing waves are known for their sunset coastal view.
It was jammed packed when we arrived, with tour groups heading there to catch the view these days, so you have to be early. Selection of snacks and drinks are available though we felt the food was mediocre and pricey. So doubt Iāll head back the next time.
Bright vibrant murals, fairy light and colourful benches, @seacircus transport me into a circus. But they serve healthy bowls for breakfast and Mexican food in the later afternoon before transforming to a bar at night with killer cocktails.
Since we like to have something filling for breakfast, we went for the Smashed Avo (IDR55k). Comes with pumpkin seeds, salt flakes and pepper with side red onion marmalade and lemon slices. There are also add-on options like feta or poached eggs.
But what caught my attention was the colourful lattes (IDR40k). Black (charcoal), Green (matcha), Pink (beetroot) and Yellow (turmeric), it matches the theme of this place!
The place is spacious with high ceiling and tungsten light plus thereās both indoor and outdoor porch dining area! They serve anĀ all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch menu alongsideĀ a wide range of coffees, cakes and pastries.
With an extensive menu, we were lost at what to order and decided on Charcoal Breakfast Burger (IDR95k), Omelette de Abruzzo (IDR100k), gluten-free Al Pastor Tacos (IDR120k) and of course their Polenta Fries (IDR75k). Love how they turn polenta into fries, making it easier to munch on and added parmesan cheese and truffle aioli was a nice touch!
Donāt you love Bali?! And at this utterly grammable healthy bowl place in Seminyak, everyone just wanna catch that quote. They serve two kinds of smoothie bowls (IDR73k), Berry Tropical or the Green & Grind. Simple yet filling, itās a wonderful mid-day snack to have.
P.S. you can let them know what word you like to have on your bowl but do note that during peak hour they might not be able to accommodate.
You need a break every once in a while to enjoy the everyday and you need the everyday to enjoy the break you take every once in a while.
Those whoāve been to Ubud, you would have heard about Casa Luna. With relaxing Bali-chic ambience, the place serves authentic Balinese food and nourishing fusion dishes. One of their signature dishes will be the Balinese-Style Paella. The bowl was overflowing with calamari, clams, fish, prawns, tomato sambal and fragrant turmeric rice.
