Had cold noodle and pork belly with kimchi for dinner. The food is quite nice and authentic, especially the pork belly - which is season well and not too oily. $20 per each.
Ordered 300g pork belly, 100g signature marinated beef brisket, 100g short ribs & a cold noodle. Unlimited supply of lectures and side dishes including kimchi too. Meat are definitely in good quality so as the lectures (very crunchy and fresh!) Staffs are very helpful and help to barbecue. The cold noodle is good too.
For the meat that is cooked, they were put on a piece of bread so they won’t be burnt while to keep it warm still. $45 per person. Overall a satisfying experience! Worth paying a visit during lunch and try the rest of the dishes!
Lunch set with free-flow of side dishes. The claypot beef stew is very rich in flavour and goes well with rice. If you prefer something that is less heavy (and probably you can drink the soup too), this may not be something that you’re looking for. But this is pretty tasty and I can finish it all by myself.
Having half the sweet and spicy sauce and another half for soy sauce fried rice chicken to be shared by two for lunch is definitely more than enough...around $20 each. The taste is not bad but i may prefer the oven one here.
Twins is always my favourite place to get korean deep fried chicken here - the chicken is always juicy and the sauce is exactly the kind of flavour you’re looking for. Having half sweet and spicy, and soy & garlic chicken to be shared and i can finish it easily! The japchae is also one of my favourites too.
You may miss this korean bbq buffet place at the corner along the katong area but it is definitely value for money! There are a number of choices of meat including beef (marinated or not), chicken and pork belly in wine, garlic or not marinated one! Free flow Hot dishes are served too and you can have korean pancake, fried chicken, a few types of kimchi or even have a bowl of soup while waiting for the food to be ready! Veg and different sauces are served just in case you would like to wrap the meat while eating.
The staffs are really friendly and they can address everything quickly. Recommended if you’re looking for korean bbq buffet at the east side.
Had ganjang soya half chicken, bulgogi pancake and popcorn chicken in yangnyum sauce. Enjoyed the popcorn chicken the most because it suits lazy people like me who wanna enjoy chicken bites at the same time (though it is a bit pricey compare with the portion). The bulgogi pancake is a interesting try but was a bit messy when you are having it since they put beef in between two pieces of pancake. The soya half chicken is too salty for us.
Had half of each and both are great. Tried the roasted chicken with boneless which will great for someone like me who is lazy to get the bones out. The soy sauce chicken (original) is yummy as well!
The portion is huge and generous for me but I guess it is satisfying for guys. It is the kind of soup you would be craving for when you’re feeling cold in the office or when you’re falling sick. They provided a variety of kimchi which goes well with the food. It is quite reasonable to pay $14.9 for the lunch set.
