Popped by to my Sourdough “go to” at @microbakerykitchen after burning 500calories at @9roundeastcoastroad

Been wanting to try the Sourdough Egg Tart for the longest time, it’s like a fluffy croissant with egg custard. Very YUM! However I got a little greedy after starting at the menu and decided to go for something sinful - Grilled 3 Cheese (Brie/Smoked Cheddar/ Mozzarella) Sandwich. IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD!

The best avocado toast I ever had by far. Probably it’s because the multigrain is supplied by Burntends Bakery and I tell you, they are damn seeded which I LOVE IT!

Topped with Smashed Avocado (I’m pretty it’s a whole avo), sunflower seeds, mint and tahini salsa. BUTTT they totally forgotten my whipped feta which I received it by the side (not pictured), no complaint cos everything was damn flvaourful and delightful. Damn yummilious!

Crispy salmon served with roasted Cauliflower, hummus, pomegranate, herb salad & burnt lime.

This is probably the best lunch I ever had in Sarnies and the best thing for entertainer's 1-1.

This place really put a gun into my head, out of all the brunch places I had in Singapore. I had NEVER paid $18+ freaking dollars for Avocado Smash, with feta crumbles, crashed pumpkin seeds, 2 poached egg on Rye Sourdough. It’s my usual to order for brunch place, but it was just wayyyyyyy too pricey. AND the soy milk latte also damn “atasly” expensive can! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 💸😭

Smoked Salmon, Dill Cream, Sourdough (swapped my brioche), Streaky Bacon, Poached Eggs and Mashed Avocado are my usual order at any brunch place. Enjoyed this from @entertainersg 1-1 deals, otherwise it would be a rather costly $17++ with any a tiny bit of mashed avocado. 🙊🥑

Vegetarian brunch for a change, we had Spanish Baked Egg ($18+) of tomato salsa, eggplant, peppers, eggs.
Turkish Smashed Avo with za’atar and poached eggs ($16+) I added Burrata Cheese for $7+ to complete my brunch of a style.

Overall the food was just alright, not mind blowing for me on a return. As I could taste the sourdough was kinda left over night and not freshly baked from the wood fried oven. That is the main disappointment I must say. Also, I have realised that my Turkish smashed avo has a missing roasted peppers that was stated on the menu, featured on IG but not served. Restaurant with lack of consistency is a nono for me. 👎🏻

Starting this wet Sunday with hearty breakfast at @ronin.cafe for their Poached Eggs on 2 different toast (Seeded Bread and Sourdough) for $11.
To complete this “hearty” brekkie I’ve added Bacon ($4), 1/2 Avocado ($3.50) and Wilted Spinach ($3.50).

The poached eggs were “eggcellent” woozying on the well toasted seeded bread. The grilled bacon was crispy, fatty and succulent and the wilted spinach simply made me feel slightly less guilty for over ordering and eating. Definitely a recommend brunchie place and I would return for sure! 😋

My choice would always be Avocado, Salmon & Egg(sad that they don’t have poached egg), it’s simple and safe choice for someone who is trying to watch the waistline. For those who know me, I’ve been on Keto for awhile now this I usually don’t finish my Bread, probably just the corners and I totally forgotten to ask for no dressing for my mesclun salad. So yeah, for everyone: this probably is my usual lunch option. 😋

Spending time ME time alone after getting tortured at TCM this morning. This is probably one of the best Mileslife’s restaurant by far. Not only the salad was really good, the staff were really nice as they seated me on a comfortable sofa even it was crowded. The vibes is damn cool too, really live up to the Aussie lifestyle. Definitely a recommended lunch spot! 👍🏻
