Had the lunch deal - Noodles + dumplings + drink for $16++. I had the Sichuan pork noodles, smoked duck dumplings & plum wolf berry drink.
The smoked duck dumplings were really to my tastebuds! Flavourful, and they came with a little special sauce which tasted a bit like vinegar (I donβt like vinegar at all). Topped with flavoured onions (sour!) which was to bland out the duck smell (I suppose). Yummmmm.
My Friend had the original dumplings which didnβt have any wow factor; it wasnβt impressive even as a normal dumpling which was kinda disappointing );

The noodles were springy as we bite in, after tossing with the generous serving of minced pork mixed with fried shallots. I donβt really see how it is βSichuanβ cos it wasnβt any slight spicy. The infamous onsen egg completes the entire bowl of goodness.
Fragrant Japanese white rice, topped with nicely grilled chicken thigh meat, drizzled with teriyaki sauce and paired with some shredded greens and a sous vide egg.
The meat was tender & marinated to taste. Just right amount of meat to rice ratio which is definitely worth the price tag. Maybe more greens please?
Who would have thought they'd serve 3 slices instead of 2 (as on the menu) on the pizza? π But they were cooked instead of smoked π’
A layer of slightly sour tomato sauce base and some typical pizza cheese atop thinly rolled crust. Overall, there wasn't much taste to it, which was kinda disappointing. Would still stick to my other pizza choices in saizeriya !
The saffron broth was poured over the dish right in front of our eyes as the miso butter salmon was served.
Beneath that thick slice of soft, unflaky salmon lies squid ink pasta grains, and beside it is kelp. A spoonful drizzle of avocado sauce and topped with huge and crunchy broccoli pieces.
The miso flavour was there - not too salty to cover the original salmon flavour. The salmon slice was cooked to perfection - I would say, it was in between medium to well-done? It really melts in your mouth together with the assortment of flavours in the dish.
Parma ham with rocket - the well-known Italian pair. The Parma ham here isn't as salty as the ones I've had before, and it's a slightly thicker cut here too. Personally not a fan of rocket salad, but the servings weren't too overwhelming so it was just right.
Vodka-infused pineapple chunks and Pork salami slices atop crisp baked pizza. It may look like our well-known Hawaiian pizza but it tastes waaay much better! Pork salami wasn't too heavy, and pineapple chunks were sweet. The ratio of ingredients were fairly well distributed too. Loved it!
The berry-infused cream cheese beneath the soft bun was decorated with chunks of fresh-cut fruits like apple & some pumpkin seeds - proof that the filling is homemade. While the filling does not look generous, once you start chewing, the ratio of thick fruit cream cheese & soft, chewy bun is just right. Have always wanted to try this since 2 years ago when they first opened though, finally!!
The new hit in McDonald's - Hokkaido Salmon Burger. Double the patty, double the hit! Previously saw the single patty one which looks really sad, so we went for double. The sauce and the cabbage complemented really well w the salmon! Considering it's salmon, it's not bad. Probably because the burger was served warm, it tasted good and that the salmon crumb batter was fried to crispy goodness. Yum. But wouldn't go for a second round for salmon fast food. ._.
Personally am not the type who would order a vongole spaghetti when I crave for pasta. Well, as a spice lover, this level 1 vongole ppong came as a surprise. The soup was on point - not too salty, and carried a tinch of sweetness from the seafood and vegetables. I still snatched for more soup before they cleared the bowl hehe.

If you love Hokkien mee, especially the KL black Hokkien mee, you'd definitely love this Thai-inspired fusion jjamppong which is the only stir-fried dish in the menu. It wasn't surprisingly as spicy as the Vongole or Cha. Something to indulge in if you're craving something stir-fried but want to eat Korean or Thai food too hahaha.

This Alfredo-Jjamppong hybrid was really thick and made the chewy wheat noodles look like spaghetti hahahaha. If you wna snap a photo of your food, I would advise you do a quick one before your noodles soak up the wetness of the sauce, leaving you with dry and clingy noodles.
I thought it would be nice to include some mushrooms too so it'll feel more alfredo-ish hehe.
