All About Curry
($18) my friend ordered it as he wanted to try something more adventurous lol. I did tried their curry sauce as I felt tat its quite salty and also thick texture.
($16) I decided to get pork curry instead of chicken or beef instead. But their sauce was not that salty and thick texture but mid spicy. The rice portion just nice for me and my friend. The minced pork was a bit hard for me tbh. Initially we wanted to try out on earlier at last mth but then need to reserve via WhatsApp before heading to restaurant. So we decided to reserve towards end of the month instead and can check their instagram stories for slot before deciding the date and pax.
Plain + Egg Prata ($2.20)
I felt that their prata is not that bad tbh as it's quite got some crispy on the surface but it's a bit slightly dry :")
($16.50) my friend opt out for level 1 in spicy level as she think that mild level is not that spicy for her.
($18.50) I opt out for mild level in spicy level as I recently recovered from flu & sore throat that week. I didn't wanted to eat too spicy also. I choose best selling items on the menu for omelet curry series. The pork cutlet was quite crispy, crunchy, (not that hard texture for meat) and complemented well with curry sauce. The curry sauce was quite sweet and not that spicy for people preferred non-spicy curry sauce based.
Specially for travelling down frm North East to Jurong for trying their popular curry rice. ($6.90) I felt that their curry spice is mid tbh but pork cutlet slightly overcooked hence I felt that it's quite hard to chew and the outer filling was really crispy and crunchy. photo credits: huiyi ✌
As written on previous review, I managed to try it on Dong Po Pork ($2.50 per serving), Chap Chye (Cabbage) ($0.70), Pork Chop ($1) and Rice ($0.50). Dong Po Pork is one of best selling items which they cut into bigger pieces, tough and a bit hard to chew but Chap Chye (Cabbage) was easily soft and cut into smaller pieces. I decided to order Pork Chop again because I really like the crisp and classic taste of it.
Curry Rice ($3.20) consisted of Pork Chop ($1), Char Siew ($1), Bean Sprout ($0.70) and Rice ($0.50). Pork Chop is classic item which its not like salty aftertaste and quite crispy batter. Char Siew is another classic item which its a bit sweet aftertaste with red sauce gravy. I want to try it for Dong Po Pork and Cabbage for next time during dinner time.
Roast Cheese Pork Cutlet is another hidden dish inside the menu. Roast Cheese Pork Cutlet served sweet red and also horseradish (real kick in spicy) almost like wasabi sauce. One of best Japanese curry shop at liang court is located outside of MEIDI-YA supermarket.
