Snacks
Both were really well done and delicious pastries, but not very stand out
We got charcoal peanut, original coconut and green tea red bean. These were great! The peanut one was our favourite
My go to for old school muffins! Located within the Old Airport Road food centre, this stall sells a variety of baked goods. My favourite are the muffins (the Double Chocolate and the Pandan Kaya in particular). If you buy 5, you get one free.
I also like the buns that come in a pack of six that you have to peel apart. They've got red bean, yam, coconut, curry. Yum!
Finally got around to trying these! Went at 130pm (half an hour before closing) and managed to get chocolate, banana walnut, cranberry. Really wanted to try the Oreo, but the store said what they had left were all reserved. These were fun for novelty's sake, but I prefer the muffins at Chong Pang Old Time Flavour at the Old Airport Road food centre.
Swung by to get some sticky buns, but they were all sold out. Couldn't bring myself to leave empty handed so I picked up one of these to try. Bread speckled with orange peel and coated in a sugar glaze. This wasn't bad, but it was no sticky bun 🙁
Back here again! $2.90 each if you buy 3 or more. Seasonal special flavours right now are Stewed Hamburg and Cheese Tomato Curry. Regular flavours (Yellow Chicken Curry, Brown Beef Curry, Shrimp Gratin) are still available
Yam filled sugar dusted donut. Was really excited to try this! However, the filling was not great. Tasted more coconut flavour than yam...
I always pick up curry pans when I see them. Such a sinful treat, but they always hit the spot! This was great, one of the better ones you can find in SG
These were great! Skin was soft and chewy, and filling was moist. Got the salty bean, corn and gula melaka coconut. Corn was my favourite! Think this is the only place that makes this flavour
Just bread filled with butter and kaya, but so so good that I can't walk by without picking one up. My favourite thing from Wu Pao Chun!
I love curry pans! Got the chicken curry, beef curry and shrimp gratin flavours. They go for $2.90 each if u buy 3. These were so good! Crunchy on the outside even though I left them for a good three hours before eating, and less greasy than I expected. Highly recommended!
Got the Combo B ($10.80) which came with popcorn chicken and 2 flavours of fries. We chose truffle for the chicken, and cheese/sour cream for the fries.
They have some really interesting flavours available like mala/curry/salted caramel. Next time!
