🐱 - Hokkaido curry bun:
After so many stuffed curry buns, I was expecting to be disappointed with yet another curry bun with more bread than curry. Turns out it was not the case. This bun is 90% curry, 10% bread, 100% crunchy and 200% deliciousness. The curry inside is tangy but not spicy, making it a perfect choice of a breakfast bun, especially for the fact that I tend to avoid spicy foods for breakfast. Highly recommend.

🐱 - Chikuwa bun:
Okay this is somewhat the opposite. Yes the chikuwa is chewy and tasty, yes there’s tuna stuffed inside, but there is a lot of bread for such little filling. Then again, the bread is well baked and very light, so not much of a complaint here. Bonus points for the mayo topping.

🐱 - Donut:
Had it as a midnight snack. Very soft, not too sweet, and definitely cheaper than some overrated brand name “classics”.

🐱 - Mentaiko France:
They said looks can be deceiving, and in this case it’s in a good way. It’s not just mentaiko topped on the mini baguette — there’s also a generous spread of mentaiko sandwiched IN the mini baguette. Salty, tangy and slightly spicy, this is worth the $2.40 per pop.

🍵 - Matcha Yuzu Crossiant ($2.60)
Never saw it on pullman bakery and look like new kid on the bakery shop tbh. Good thing that I managed to reheat the crossiant if not I don't have crispy outer of it. Didn't really taste much matcha and just sprinkled powder on outer of the crossiant. I really enjoyed yuzu and cream cheese mixture as its a bit sour and savoury mixed taste. Yuzu was mixed with cream cheese first and then pumped into the crossiant once its ready to sell it out from the shop.

Love this apple pastry as well as their pear ones. Not too sweet and it’s lovely served cold out from the fridge too!

One of the more affordably priced bagels.

No need to pay for expensive bagel sandwiches -
Just 1.50 for a plain bagel .

How about a homemade scrambled egg and cheese avocado bagel ?

I always pick up curry pans when I see them. Such a sinful treat, but they always hit the spot! This was great, one of the better ones you can find in SG

This quintessential Japanese sweetbread only cost me $1.30. It's got an iconic crispy cookie top and an incredibly soft, fluffy and airy interior.

The cookie crust wasn't super crunchy, but it's passable. I was more bothered by the density of the bun. I prefer my melonpan really inflated and airy to balance out the crispness of the crust. The flavor of the melonpan itself made up for it though; rich, milky and decadent. I like this bakery a lot, although it can't really compare to the ones in Japan.
