A level far higher than most Gelato shops in Singapore and so familiar... similar to those I ate in Europe omg. So it was way above my expectations haha. The range of flavours are like those in Europe too. Lemon with Basil.. Caffe de Nonno... Pistachio Bronte... Even the the Caramel Sea Salt was different. Really!

These Apple Crumble Tarts and Baileys Cake look like nothing much, but oh my god they were done perfectly šššššš The Apple crumble just melts in your mouth instead of drying it out, and the baileys cake is the perfect blend š The kind which really makes you go Mmmmmmmm~ xD
The Pound closes early so I took the cake away for my parents to have a taste. And they love it a lot! The big slice is really satisfying; the sponge has a lightness which feels gravity-defying š Even the cream too. Everything in this Espresso Swiss Roll has heart in it and blended together so well š I could eat slice after slice.
On a side note, the korean lady boss gave me the red bean biscuit (lunar new year special) as a freebie, when I was just asking and thinking of buying that last piece.... Thank you unnie! XD
Cause it was the last Craft IPA flavoured scoop and melting fast after all the scraping it went through š The IPA taste is obvious yet light; a balance which I think is really hard to achieve. It doesn't get cloying after many licks and it just goes on and on and onš
On a side note, the boss was cooking up the staff meal when we were there, and the garlic cream smell was swoon-worthy. The brunch must be killer then. Sadly they haven't started serving dinner ;(
They were closed but allowed takeaways, hence the weird table background haha. Cake is dense which I feel is quite sad as some pretty cakes are just like that... Cookie butter tart's tart base is good; crunchy and savoury. Cream is not bad too.
Chef is super hardworking (I think). The ondeh on the ondeh ondeh tart is homemade and the burst of gula melaka is heavenly! Plus the kaya below is homemade too, tasting milky, caramel-y and everything I didn't know kaya could taste like š»
Before I managed to find a day to go their Telok Blangah Drive outlet, they opened a branch just right next town. š¤š¤š¤ Takoh Belle is the best cake out of all that I've tried, because the match of tastes and textures is really good. It doesn't feel like you are simply eating the actual dessert shaped like a cake. HAHA.
By an independent pastry Chef. Biz isn't that good but the desserts are definitely done with skills! :) Matcha yuzu pictured here isn't too sweet, and the texture is something different ;)
