Puding Raja is not so much of a pudding but a local dessert made up of ripe caramelised banana as its base, topped with a noodle like Malay delicacy; which is made of egg yolk, drenched with sweetened milk. To give this dish some colour, nuts, dates, and maraschino cherry are added. There is so much texture in every bite. From the sponginess of the banana to the crunch from the nuts and the chewiness of the yellow noodle.
I am trying cut down on eating so much rice lately but could not help but to lick my plate clean as the Thai sauce is super irresistible. The combination of sweet, salty and spicy 🌶 in this sauce makes my taste buds tingle with excitement as enjoy every grain of rice with it.
Fried kuey teow swimming in a delicious silky and rich egg gravy, topped with a heap of crispy flaky noodles. Tough this dish lacks ‘wok hei’, it is still a favourite among the customers here. They make it up with its gigantic portion size and affordability. This whole plate here cost less than RM10. It is made for a pax of 1 but I strongly advice you to share it with someone.
This drink is called 彩虹 which means rainbow 🌈 in English. It’s a ice blended mixed fruit drink that is not to be found on their wall menu. I notice the table next to me ordering it last time and I had to come back to give it a try. The combination of dragon fruit and mango is surprisingly good. It’s very refreshing, not overly the top sweet and the colours are so inviting. It’s the perfect summer blend of fruit and ice. Perfect for photos too. Rm7
Coffee is is good. A nice cozy cafe which opens till midnight. I highly recommend their hot chocolate. I like that this is made with high quality rich cocoa, not overly sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth without screwing up your diet.
The croissant 🥐 however is a NO NO. Hard as a rock. It is so hard that if you throw it at your enemy, I am sure your enemy would suffer from a head concussion.
The best naan and lamb curry 🍛 that have ever grazed my taste buds so far. The curry is thick, rich and punchy which goes well with their airy roti.

Look for this store along the road - Keropok Warisan Lekor. There are many stalls that sells Lekor here but a local here highly recommended trying this place only. The Lekor here are very fresh, not loaded oily, and it doesn’t have that fishy aftertaste.

Fried sotong stuffed with egg yolk, battered then fried till golden brown. The batter is light and crispy while the sotong meat retains its juiciness and tenderness. This would go very well when paired with some chilli sauce and glass of beer in one hand.
