Sometimes you just want to indulge in some char kway teow, this hidden gem at Syed Alwi Road is sure to satisfy that craving. I knew i would love it as i like my fried hokkien mee moist. This one was similar, albeit slightly wetter and is coated in oil as you can see. It is not clumpy as well. I like how there are more pork lard and cockles in this plate too.

This one was not as flavorful, but also not too bad la. I think that is because they use vegetable oil instead of pork lard. They serve me this plate like damn fast. Lol I am very sure they pre cook one.

Super worth it! $3 for this portion??? This is not the wetter kind of char kway teow that i prefer, but this is kind of oily, and sweet at the same time. I think they added sweet sauce? On top of that, you get a reasonable amount of cockles and luo cheong. Oh, they open at around 11am and closes when they are sold out!

Nothing like a good plate of oily fried kway teow to end off the day~ sinful and delicious.
