Famous for their pancake. Thick and fluffy but the sweetness on this plate overwhelmed everything. Butterscotch, marshmallow and mascarpone! What a killer combo. An upside of this dish was that they provided a bottle of Noble Tuthilltown Bourbon Barrel Matured Maple Syrup. I didn’t know how famous was this maple syrup until I ask my friend, Google. An entire stick of vanilla stick inside the wax sealed bottle. .

Rather than going back for pancake, I would order an egg dish and pour some of that syrup on it. .

A super old school fish and chips hidden in the neighborhood. Just look at the “garden” salad, It looked like a pot of plant. .

Until I had this, then I understand why “ang mo” love to eat fish and chips. The batter completed wrapped the fillet and kept all its moisture within. Super crispy and juicy. .

Because of the freezing weather, this seafood chowder was my ultimate favorite. Thick like congee and packed with the taste of the sea. .

The mayo with poached with an acidic tomato with fennel leaf. Just the right Toasty-ness. Love it. Many ordered the egg dish, esp their omelette. .

Recommended by an foodie friend whose HIS name should not be mention [😈]. Burger fuel is a chain burger outlet which can be found in many places in Auckland city. .

This burger (American burger) had a very beefy patty and most of the moisture was provide by the tomato and pickles. Just the right thickness for me as my jaw was “shag” out after chewing my way through. Instead of the regular ketchup, they provided garlic mayo for the fries. .

Rather than their ridiculous design and insanely expensive drink ($5), the rest was prefect. .

Juiciest burger I had by far. Cheddar cheese, streaky bacon, 180g patty and caramelized onion. The pickle balanced the fattiness. Bite after bite the next thing I know, it disappeared. .

Poutine was hand cut fries topped with squeaky cheese and gravy. 100% comfort food. The over-fried fries soaked up the gravy .

Great place to eat after the hike at cape kidnaper. This place only open for four days so plan your trip well. .
