I like that it’s not oily! The buttery, crumbly pastry is quite thin as well, focusing more on the filling 😋 packed with curried potatoes, tender chicken chunks and hard-boiled egg✨ not overly spicy 🌶 more sweet and packed with savoury curry fragrance✨ pretty good I have to say! Now I got to try soon soon curry puff to compare LOL.

Madeleine’s has been well-known for their creamy flakey egg tarts 💗 and closely resemble the Macau’s version💯 everything is made from scratch and served in 2 sizes mini or original✨ I love how crispy and crunchy the crust is✨ and the soft egg custard with beautiful toasted surface 😍 without being overly sweet or faked using sugar syrup (they don’t have! 👍) pure original goodness🙌

Meidi-ya supermarket shifted to @milleniawalk now they have a food hall and bakery @gokoku.jp from Kobe! Got their koucha scone (earl grey scone), melon pan and signature malt Kurumi pan🌈✨ all three are of three different textures🙌 found my next favorite Japanese bakery aside from Donq and at a cheaper price hehe🌼😍 highly recommend all of them! The scone is packed with tea aroma, the melon pan is sugar crunchy top and fluffy on the inside, the malt kurumi pan is so so soft and so so healthy heheh☺️✨ Japanese bread ftw👅

🐦 kill 2 birds with one stone at @orchardroad.sg ✨ didn’t planned to visit another of @breadtalksg new creation - @charlieteasg 🥤 their BBT extension🌈🌼✨ like there is not enough BBT in Sg alr (jk🙃) I got to say the location is perfect - at basement of @takashimayasg right along the corridor that you enter from @wismaatria 🙌👏you just can’t missed it and definitely have the “why not?” Feels😂 I got their $5.50 Charlie set which includes a selected choice of pastry and a cold POP tea ✨🌸 i do like the savory sausage bread 🍞 which has this yummy mushroom butter spread within the crunchy soft croissant-like bread texture👍 the grapefruit POP is very refreshing and generous with the fillings flavor 🌈 I highly recommend the strawberry Danish - I love the thick cream cheese cream🍓 ✨ overrall, they still have BreadTalk vibes😂😅🌸 but I do like the new modern Chinese concept🤩💕worth a visit👍( but why so many new concept @breadtalksg 😆)

✨💁‍♀️MY FIRST WIFE CAKE 老婆饼✨tried the newly opened famous Hang Heung bakery 恒香老饼家 from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 now serving freshly baked pastries at @ion_orchard branch🤩 Super lucky that we only queued about 15 mins on a Saturday🥳Hang Heung Wife Cake ($2.80 ), also known as Sweetheart Cake, is a Cantonese pastry made with a thin crust and handmade winter melon paste filling 🌈 I love how flaky and soft the crust is, it’s just molds and peels in your hands - one bite into it and you get this soft mochi-like filling of a subtle yet distinctive natural melon sweetness 🥰 never had a pastry like this 🤤 I haven’t tried others but @fatpigdiary @foodie_emilly @etr_eattravelrelax enjoyed them very much and mentioned it’s one of the nicest wife cakes they had in Singapore 🇸🇬✨ the staffs are pretty friendly and patient as well☺️ do check them out! They are having mooncakes now where I see people grabbing like a few boxes at a go😱🥮 🙌

Love their exclusive Thai milk tea with pandan pearls ($5.60) price is on the steeped side but it really taste of Thailand 🇹🇭 with the chewy soft pearls which has a subtle pandan taste and balances the strong milk tea well!

Another favorite from @keongsaikbakery 😍 their cruffins are the best✨thanks @fatpigdiary again for delivering my cravings to me😂 the burnt cheese and matcha cheese are must-get! Can’t have one without the other🤭 I heat it up in the oven for 5 mins and it still have the creamy oozy core and crispy flaky outsides 👍 quite a fair bit of bakes do not pass the refrigeration test🙃 my family love the rich cheesy insides, it’s not “gelat” or too sweet😊 and the cruffin crust really is worth every penny✨

🎉1 more day till phrase 2🎉while preparing the cookie dough, nomming on my stash of takeaway snacks🤤 another place that I checked off my list is @richandgoodcakeshop ❤️ thanks to delivery, I don’t have to queue or hunt down remaining stocks at their store😂 tried their kaya🌿and mango flavor🥭I personally like the mango better😂 the kaya as u seen is not as fluffy and light as reviewed, many due to mass production they couldn’t keep the standard as much😕 the mango turned out ok 👌 but hm, I won’t particularly go all the way to eat their Swiss rolls, but it’s nice as gifts☺️✨
