Apart from its pretty location by Publika's beautifully outfitted kids' playground, Namoo On The Park also boasts a few family features of its own. The Korean fusion menu, for instance, melds tasty recipes with fun interpretations — all presented in portions good for sharing. The Kimchi Burrito (RM25) is a underrated dish of moist kimchi fried rice rolled in a warm blanket of mozzarella and tortilla. Also great to tickle a child's appetite, the Bibi Rice Burger (RM25) sees juicy grilled chicken, mixed vegetables and a fried egg between rice buns. Their famed Sweet Potato Cake (RM16) is an interesting take on traditional Korean sweet potato desserts and makes a decent (and rather healthy) sweet to share. But if the kids have been real good, treat them to the Salt Ice Cream Caramel Popcorn Bingsu (RM22). Icy cold, saltishly sweet and garnished with popcorns, it's everything we dreamt of as kids!

I'm a fussy eater. Sometimes something on the menu looks perfect, apart from the addition of one item which just puts me off. Luckily I can build my own eggs Benedict here! Starting with a basis of greatly cooked eggs and waffle, you build what you want around it. I went with salmon and avocado, and it came to 35rm. Salmon cooked perfectly, though the avocado was a bit little for the extra cost, and the sauce lacked punch I was expecting. But it doesn't detract from the atmosphere. I'd recommend sitting outside, where you can best watch the world and people go by at Publika entrance!

Truly enjoyed this northern-inspired Malaysian x Californian poke bowl. Salmon, yellowfin tuna & butterfish tossed in zesty cili paid fresh lime marinade. Topped with crispy salmon skin, layered with guacamole & crab salad 👍🏻 #eatomofoodco #publika #dindins
Love this poke bar that located at art row publika. It provide a quick lunch option and it's great option to beat the heat as well.
Customize your bowl according to your preference. Yum
Uptown isn’t the only place blooming with soft serve ice cream spots; Bangsar has its own little gem located along Jalan Lengkok Abdullah! Run by Jeremy Chan – who also owns Brewmen in Mont Kiara – Bean Reserve’s cereal soft serve (RM8) is a must-have treat here, perfect for sunny days, especially when it gets warmer in the “reserve” decked in glass windows. Need a caffeine kick? Order the intriguing Nitro Coffee or Tea (RM13), or go for the Soft Serve Affogato and enjoy both ice cream and coffee all at once. What’s more, the naturally-lit space makes Bean Reserve super conducive for study sessions and business meetings.
This month sees champ cafe VCR breaking out of their city centre bubble to hit Bangsar's Jalan Telawi 3, and we are thrilled! This new outlet exudes the same laidback vibes, so you no longer have to go out of your way for the early morning stop. Make a date with your partner or a close friend to begin your day here with good coffee and a solid breakfast. Start with coffee — filter options are favoured, alongside a foolproof Flat White (RM11). A handful of new additions join the menu, and topping the list is the VCR Hotcakes (RM25). Crumbly on the outside but moist within, the blueberry hotcake comes with a beautiful mess of seeds, berries and fig yoghurt cream. To load up on protein, go for Pennsylvania's Soul (RM25). Their signature potato waffle is featured here with spiced fried chicken, basil leaves and pomegranate. Unlike the classic Southern chicken and waffles, this one sees tender chicken thigh pieces fried without batter. But trust us, it's scrumptious enough to make you forget all about the lack of crunch.

A cafe with a very modern feel, Five-HT’s selection of interesting coffee concoctions (bulletproof and avocado) make great pairings with the rice bowls on offer. Their Gyutan Don (RM32) is a savoury delight — slivers of beef tongue tossed with mirin rest atop a pillow of rice. Not to be outdone, their Tamago Mentai Don (RM30) is an addictive dish from the first bite. Creamy fish roe meets creamy egg in a battle of flavour supremacy but the only true winner is the palate. Those of us with bigger pockets might want to upgrade to their Gyu Tamago Don (RM90) which comes with premium wagyu beef.

Is cauliflower 'rice' considered cheating? Perhaps. But this fluffy, genuinely delicious cauliflower 'rice' tastes like the perfect midpoint between couscous and regular rice. And in our opinion, this is the tastiest poke bowl in Klang Valley, so it fully deserves a place on this list. The salmon is a notch above those at most poke parlours (pick your marinade, they’re all pretty great), the vegetables are as vibrant in the mouth as they are on the eyes, and we left feeling a good deal healthier than when we came in. Well worth the RM25.

One of our favourite eateries, this place delivers excellent fare at pleasing prices. Take for instance the perfectly executed House Rice Bowl with chicken thigh (RM17.90), the house-made Spam Bowl (RM19.90), or their excellent Sourdough with Sous Vide Kaya (RM6.90). Our recommendation for first time visitors, though, is to try their “Go All Out” bowl. For RM25.90, you get the delicious chicken thigh, a jiggly egg, fantastic Sriracha mayo and some additional pork belly for that final touch of porcine perfection. We don’t often pick favourites at Foodgazer, but it’s hard not to give this a very strong nod above the rest of the competition.
