While most are here over the weekend for the 1 for 1 tower, half drunk me indulge in the cheese filled seafood cone. Crabstick, shrimp and what's not. When i sober up, i realise $6.20 is an awful much to pay for a tiny cone pizza. Nonetheless, great vibes and cheap beer. 😋
Just barely making it through my $10 list (i cheated aft gst its beyond that) is the fabulous salted egg yolk pork ribs.
No doubt one of the best salted egg yolk dish i ever had. Each pieces of the meat were generously coated with the salted egg yolk sauce. The sauce was flavourful and definitely packed a punch. 💘
🍴 I love love love my chicken rice and if my emphasize is not strong enough, i would like to let you know again. I love my chicken rice and really wee nam kee is my all time favourite.
$7 and you get a personal set of chicken with rice and dumpling soup. HOW TO SAY NO?! 😍
Once Upon a Time, there was a Noodle Story.
In the land of noodles were, Japanese-style Chashu, Onsen Egg, Wontons, Crispy Potato Prawn and next to them were a good bowl of broth.
The owner certainly took their craft seriously and everything lived harmoniously together.
The sambal was not exceptionally spicy but the fragrance was definitely on point.
I quite like the dash of powdery magic they added to the noodles at the end.
Definitely worth the $7(s)/$9(m) and 15mins queue (i came at 6.15-ish?).
Totally deserving of the Bib Gourmand Award, a lot better than some 1-star Michelin restaurant I had.
