The Fried Calamari was also really tasty! The basket of crispy, lightly breaded calamari was tender and flavorful, but made even better when paired with the saffron mayo on the side.
While the food may be slightly pricey given the small portions, it was tasty and I would recommend this place for date nights 😉
The signature Bikini Sandwich was clearly a must try, given how it is the dish that propelled the restaurant to fame back in Spain. With each mouth you take, the lightly crispy toast gives way to a soft and melted cheesy core, where the wafer thin slices of salty iberico ham complements it nicely. The truffle spread is very light on the palate, lingering over the other components and not overpowering them.
The Foie Gras was smaller than I thought, but silly me, this place's called Tapas 24, so I should have known all portions were gonna be small. Nonetheless, the burger patty was tender and juicy, with the foie gras taste only coming into play most prominently in the accompanying foie gras mousse.
Still my favourite place to get tacos thus far!
Gave the hard tacos a try this time round and they never failed to impress. The chicken was juicy, tender and well flavoured. There were so much salsa sauce and I was surprised my tacos didn’t turn soggy and became soft. Any meals here can turn real messy easily with the ingredients falling everywhere, so I advice you not to wear white. 😂
Didn't think much of it previously because I wasn't a fan of Mexican food but man, was I pleasantly surprised. Had 2 tacos ($8.50), and was delighted to find that they were soooo generous with the fillings. The chicken was juicy, tender and well flavoured. There were so much salsa sauce that my taco shell turned soggy and can easily be ripped apart. Still fab, nonetheless. Will probably try the hard taco the next time. Any meals here can turn real messy easily with the ingredients falling everywhere, so I advice you not to wear white.
