Mexicano
Naturally we ordered the chicken since that's what they specialised in. It was succulent, I just don't see myself craving roast chicken when dining out. Picked the green peppercorn & jalapeño gravy as our sauce which had a spicy rating of 1. While very tasty, that rating should be corrected to 0. Prices are reasonable for the CBD, also liked the ambience and service. Might return to try the lamb offerings.
Wasn't expecting much from the food here but I reall enjoyed my shrimp tacos. They were generous with the shrimp, which was juicy and bouncy. Really affordable prices here too, I think this was just $12nett. The burger was nice as well:)
You get to choose your meat. I picked marinated steak which was cut into tiny pieces. Even though this is rice, I felt that the salad bowl was more filling. I like the flavour of this one more though, thanks to the sauce. Accompanying ingredients provided nice texture.
Tried the beef ribs, steak, pork belly, and fish taco. Flavours were quite nice! However they all were flowing with juices (from the meat? The sauce? Idk.) that were so watery, it made the taco hard to eat. Also the taco shell used was more like the tortillas u can buy from the supermarket. As you can see in the photo, they were too big. But anyway I was still satisfied with this meal!
Loved the tacos!! Had the pork belly and chimichurri chicken! The meat was done perfectly, so tender! Great mix of flavours too. Kimchi fries were not bad, but made me so thirsty after a while haha. Will be back for sureeee.
Very value for money. This was very filling! They're generous with the ingredients and it even comes with a tortilla bowl, which you can have with the sauces provided. "Death sauce" was really spicy, I couldn't take it. Comes with your choice of protein, I picked the braised beef. Pretty happy with this meal, even though I didn't like was the dressing they put in. It was a bit too sour, but I guess that's why they're called The Lime Truck? Haha.
But doesn't come with fast food prices! Luckily, it's on the Entertainer app. We enjoyed these chicken fajitas. The large one comes with 4 wraps which is enough for two not-so-hungry people. Twas fun assembling the ingredients ourselves. The combination of the meat with the rice, beans, grilled peppers, guac, sour cream, and salsa makes for a great medley of flavours. Sounds like there's a lot going on but they all come together very well. It's not the best Mexican you can get in SG, but that should be expected since this is fast food.
