Tiramisu : you can never go wrong with this indulgent dessert. Sponge finger biscuits soaked in espresso liqueur, then layered between rich mascarpone cream and topped with cocoa powder.
Zuccotto: Never heard of it ? (Same here) Michelangelo claims to be the only restaurant in KL to make this unique and delicious Italian dessert. It is a 2 in 1 dessert combining both my favourite sweet food : ice cream and cake. The ingredients that goes into this dessert is very complex. So, I will not attempt to list them out. Give it a try and perhaps you could decipher what are the unexpected ingredients they use in this dessert.
My first thought : ' Giant Curry Puff'
This 'Giant Curry Puff' is stuffed with spicy beef salami, turkey ham and mushroom, engulfed in a bed of mozzarella and parmesan cheese, served with warm tomato sauce by the side. To make it easier for you to visualise it, it is like a pizza 🍕but folded onto itself. RM43
Carnaroli rice with chicken, mushrooms and parmesan cheese. RM42
Linguini with tiger prawns, clams, mussel and squids cooked in their special tomato sauce served in a sizzling hot pan. RM47
Oven baked tube of homemade pasta spinach and ricotta in tomato and bechamel sauce. The texture of the filling reminds me of mashed potatoes. Not the cheap KFC kind of mashed potatoes but the 'atas' kind where you get at a fancy restaurant. A dish that is light on the palate but will definitely fill you up. RM38
A three tier seafood platter with fresh oyster, baked mussel and lobster with cheese, raw creamy salmon, baby octopus, fish fillets, fried sotong rings, and prawns. A dish which will surely impressed your dinner date. However, for its price, I expected it to be a little bigger. But this is coming from a guy who has a ginormous appetite and eats like a pig.
RM110 - serving for 2
(For me, serving for 1)
An indulgent fix for all your chocolate and coffee cravings. The inside of the glass is coated with a rich chocolate syrup before being filled to the brim with the coffee-chocolate mixture, finally topped with whipped cream and sprinkles of cocoa powder. RM18
