This $6 chocolate banana cake is a loaf of carb heaven! The right level of sweetness, wonderfully moist from the real banana they put in plus gooey bits of chocolate 😍. I personally think even their yam bread, a favourite among my friends, pales in comparison to this! If I ever get married, choco banana cake would be one of the top choices for the wedding cake flavour. 😜

Made up of mostly carbs and at an average price of $2 each, they're not the most affordable treats to enjoy on a daily basis but I can be rest assured that I get quality pieces everytime. You may not get a rib eye, truffle or anything fancy here but this sirloin doused in black pepper was cooked to perfection during my recent visit. Such a steal for +/- $13. Definitely coming back again!

While some may be a lil shocked by the prices, it quickly dissipates when you see the serving size and the service was great. 😊 This one looks like a pretty landscape! A great balance between sweet and savoury but to taste this, every bite must have all the components of the dish. Very passionate baking professionals and high quality ingredients. For mooncakes, the ginger enzyme and yuzu are my favs. My colleagues love the raspberry black sesame (in pink). The sea salt caramel was a bit too salty but I didn't pick it up during the sampling. Seriously recommend the tea cakes *swipe left to see tasting sample* and their cookies are so good!!! Mostly things are made to order and made on the day of collection.

So I asked the waiter for recommendations.
The carbonara was quite good - creamy but not overwhelming (partly because of the black pepper, sorry I love black pepper so deal with it). The lemon meringue pie was a bit sweet, but well desserts right? I think it would be great with some unsweetened tea though. Ambience is great and the items are generally very affordable. Why does it have to be so near to my office and house? 😐 Does that mean I'm coming back for weekend breakfast? 😂

The spicy chashu don ($6 I think, but you can upsize with add. $3) and miniature gyoza at KY were quite good( the gyoza's taste was not extremely remarkable but the glistening bite size crispy pockets were quite cute 😂) . Ramen was good too but we agree the portion is a tiny bit small for the price. Salad was salad and the karaage was 😍 (I love the Yuzu Pon Oroshi dipping because it just takes the guilt out of karaages). French toast was okay. Not bad BUT the kaya was underwhelming. It justs tatstes sweet but lacks the aroma of real kaya.
2. Eggs were done perfectly.
3. I dont drink tea/coffee for breakfast but I'll always make an exceptiom for the tea here.
