Ordered 1 large dry hokkien mee + salted egg chicken karage + coke
Chicken was surprisingly nice - crispy and juicy though a tad oily for me. Hokkien mee is also nice. The dry version came in beehoon form which I like > egg noodles. Very flavourful soup, I wish they would refill! Prawns were pretty big, also fresh and peels easily. All this was just nice for 2 of us. A little expensive for prawn noodles, not sure if we will try the soup one next ๐ค๐ค

Poofy popiah. Really like their chilli, I left the place with my mouth still tingling. ๐ Try it out if you're nearby looking for a snack! They also sell all kinds of kueh.

Unagi fried rice was underwhelming. The fish itself is so small I think its smaller than my palm. Original price is $21+ which is very overpriced imo. Spicy crab fried rice is okay. Rice is fragrant, generous amount of tiny scallops and chopped prawns. Still, I wouldn't pay the original amount for it.
Still have un-redeemed deals on #burpplebeyond but I probably won't be going back. But do give it a shot if you're a major fried rice lover. ๐

Apparently the cook their rice in the essence of pork lard! Surprisingly not only and definitely much tastier than white rice ๐ Char siew is sweet and smokey. Set already comes with an egg so that's something to keep in mind because the person ordering will always ask if you want to add an egg. Unless you want 2 eggs of course. ๐ค

We went ala carte but should've gone for buffet instead cause the price is there about. Basically the idea is for you to order a hot pot and throw your raw ala carte into the pot.
Hot pot was super oily and salty. Frog meat itself is fine. Service was incredibly slow. First thing they served us was raw meat without the hot pot or rice or any edible dish. Worth a visit if you're there at a non peak hour and feel like clogging your arteries.
Comes in $5/$7 sizes.
Sides were made fresh in batches so service might be slow and queue might be long. Rice is a mouthful of textures and green gravy adds fragrance to the brown rice.
If you feel like eating clean, I would say this is a pretty good option.

Crispy pork chop, fragrant curry sauce with nice soggy cabbage and not great sotong.
I hear that they've really long queue - went on a Saturday afternoon and luckily there was only about 5 people in front of us. And service is super slow so that explains the queue.
Definitely something I will eat when I'm around the area but not something I will rave about. Overall a satisfying meal but for curry rice my tastebuds well prefer Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice's. ๐ - because more side dish choices, thicker curry or basically for all reasons clogging my arteries.
Signature noodles - $5
Noodles was chewy and al dente but pity I'm not a fan of noodles. But the chilli was good and the meat was flavourful. Everything in the bowl came together really well surprisingly and definitely worth the travel!
