Singapore-style fried egg omelette with straw mushroom. Mushrooms are used in place of oysters for this vegetarian orh luah. Served crispy with just the right amount of egg and starch, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Dip it with their house-made chilli sauce to enhance the flavours with some spiciness 》$13.90
The black kut teh soup was very flavourful and herby, very warming and comforting especially on a cold day. The soup is light and loaded with vegan ingredients such as lion mane, enoki, shiitake, black fungus, tofu and tofu puffs. Comes with a choice of rice or ramen.
Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Main Dish for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P. $16.90)
Flavours by Sauté carries a great selection of reasonably priced vegetarian and vegan food. They have an extensive menu consisting of local and western plant-based food.
The aglio olio was cooked al-dente to perfection, accompanied by a generous amount of green vegs, cherry tomato, bell pepper and mushroom. The serving size was also huge for me to finish on my own.

This place serves cheap and affordable standard mix of peppery vegetarian bee hoon with 斋鹅 zai er (soy beancurd skin), mock meat, cabbage and sweet chilli with sesame seed 》$2
It’s nothing fancy but simple and no-frills choice for breakfast. The only downside is that the ingredients are fixed.
Dishes are quite limited due to the space they have but it has always been the same over the years. I always remember them whenever I'm around Kovan and craving for some vegetarian noodles. They serve really huge and filling portion of bee hoon with curry and 3 dishes for just $3. I had mine with fried beancurd skin, vegetarian char siew and potatoes. Their green beans with scramble eggs is also one of my favourites. Nothing special but a hearty and filling breakfast.

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
