Congrats to Gaggan for retaining their crown in Asia again. Always a delight to dine here. Chef Anand's creativity continues to push boundaries. Here is one of the interesting and quirky dish he served up at my last visit. Aptly named "Brain Damage", it's actually a macaron powdered with dehydrated tomatoes and Lambs' Brain mousse as it's filling! Mind bogglingly delicious!!😊
Throwback to our last visit to Issaya. A playful take on a Thai classic by Chef Ian. Using chocolate to create a mango shell to hold the mango and coconut cream. Even the foam casing is made of meringue. Break the shell and you get your familiar thai dessert again!
Throwback Thursday time!!This probably the most expensive street food in Bangkok, but it's also worth every cent. At 800thb, it's about $30sgd. There's so much crab that you begin to wonder if there's more crab then egg here. The crab meat is firm, sweet and really fresh. The omelette itself is crisp on the outside yet slightly soft and runny on the inside. A prefect harmony of crab and egg. I can't wait to go back again!
