One of the few things from this Aussie trip that really impressed my family and haunts my sweet tooth day and night, is Black Star Pastry's insanely addictive Watermelon Cake. I know I'm way behind and everyone's been talking about this for the longest time, but I guess better late than never eh? Super delicate cake with flavours of rose and 🍉 that won over even my mum, the hater of all things sweet. So good, my mum considered getting a whole cake to dapao back home.

I don't usually take the hassle to edit my photos (I mean that's what wifi SD cards are for eh) but this Soft Shall Crab burger more than deserved the extra attention.

✔️Fluffy, well buttered and toasted buns
✔️Light tempura batter and huge soft shell crabs
✔️✔️✔️An Asian slaw, with the unlikely ingredients of bean sprouts and peas, that absolutely bowled me over

That, and a $20 🍔+🍺 Monday promotion won me over. I've got absolutely nothing to complain about, and if you guys ever head down to Sydney this is the one place I'd recommend you diediemustgo. The restaurant's Bowery Lane by the way, no idea why the location tag's in Mandarin!

Seriously epic soft serves here?! Honestly the shade of blue was kinda freaky at the start, but knowing that it's Sea Salt we gave it a go anyway and boy oh boy was it gooood. Smooth, intense, and so so soft - I really have nothing bad to say about this! Would love to have these flavours gelato-fied though, cause soft serves melt so fast I hardly have time to breathe and enjoy it!
