First time tried out this new opening Malay zichar. The food and restaurant ambient are good! Menu quite extensive as well..We ordered setmeal A that comes with onion omelette, bbq stingray, stir fried kailan and tomyam soup. The portion is just nice for 3 pax. A bit sad that bbq stingray need to be replace due to out of stock. The tomyam soup is tasty and less oily.
Only drawback is the food serve waiting time is quite long.
We ordered the white chicken and their signature soy sauce chicken set. Both dishes has smooth and nice texture of meat. The minced ginger is not oily which to my favor. For soy sauce chicken, it does come with a slightly sweet and spice taste that make the whole dish prefect. We also ordered the dumpling soup. Yum yum, the dumplings are fat and juicy. The water chestnut added the crispy when u are eating it. Thumbs up!
Indian style curry fish head, ordered their cottage cheese with spinach sauce. The curry fish head was surprisingly good, more toward the sourish spicy kind. The spicy will slowly kick in hence make sure u don’t eat too much at one go! Fish was fresh and side dishes were good.
Not really a fans of mookata. First time trying this restaurant, the price here are very affordable. 2pax platter only costed $39.90 with good choice of meat. It was pretty filling for 3 of us. the marinated meat a bit salty for me. Overall, The service there is nice.
I was so surprise to find 安顺猪肠粉at here. The taste really good. We also ordered the ipoh dry curry noodles. The curry noodle tasted like those you can find in malaysia. Worth to be back again!
We ordered the curry fish head and thai sauce baby squids. The fish is fresh and the gravy was just nice! Love the spicy and vegetables. Definitely will be one of my must go place for curry fish head.
It was a surprise to see so many colourful mantous with different flavours selling at suntec. We tried the curry chicken pao and peanut mantou. Both mantous filling are very generous. Will be back here again to try other flavours
It was a long search after the stall shifted from the previous location. Love the savoury soup and pork.. if compare dried and soup noodle, i prefer the soup bak kut bee hoon where it soaked up some of the soup that added extra flavour. Portion to me is very generous.
Normally we would ordered the signature bee hoon but today we decided to try their zhi char..
The petai was delicious and not too oily.. salted egg fried squid is to our surprise that is very juicy and tender.. will try out the other dishes next time!
Like this bowl of lor mee from Xin Mei Xiang Zong, which was worth the full 40 minute wait. And this cup of Teh C Kosong from Toast Hut that came with a 15 minute wait.
The combination of apple, nuts, corn and lotus root was surprisingly refreshing. Nice and cosy environment. Much more food to explore and will be back here again.
The charsiu pao here is tasty and less oily too! Tried both their signature dishes as well- 爆粥and crispy noodle with prawns.. it was a surprise that they give quite a lot of prawns and sauce is light.
