Still my favourite kaya toast because only this uncle takes the effort to toast and toast and toast again until it becomes biscuit-like crispy. Also the amount of kaya and butter is just right to still let you appreciate the fragrane of their toasted bread.
Another old school gem that I ahve been eating since primary school
Portion:
It's actually quite a lot as they have about 5 pieces of fried fish and 5 pieces of non fried the soup were overflowing with vegetables
Taste:
soup had a natural taste adding the chilli mix yellow beans made the soup even nicer there was no fishy taste as the fish were really fresh The fried fish wasn't overly soaked in batter but thinly fried I could actually taste the fish and not the batter compared to other stalls
Damage :$4
Will I recommend it to others :YES
.
Will I come again :Definitely
Food 9.5/10
Staff: 10/10 very very friendly staff
location :very accessible
Will I come again:yes definitely
Finally found the bf Fav khao soi in Singapore everything was so good found the food a little too salty but the bf being from Thailand said it normal and this taste absolutely like home esp the dishes from northern Thailand so glad I found this place :) minus 0.5 0cos of saltiness and I personally feel they definitely will have space to grow and become even better :)
Through the years this stall taste has never changed
Portion:
I thought the food won't have enough duck so added extra turns out I actually didn't needed to add extra
5/5
Taste:
soup had a really strong herbal taste which I loved but it's lacking a little thing. The yam rice was a little dry but it was good duck was soft and not too hard just the way I like it the ingredients all had the sauce soaked in so it shows they put in effort 4.5/5
Damage :$
:$17.40 with a plate of cha shao shao rou and another plate of duck rice not in picture for two person I must say its pretty worth it
Will I recommend it to others :YES
.
Will I come again :Definitely
