Except they switched it up and instead of peanut or coconut, there are flavours such as this kaya and cheese one, oreo and cream cheese, chocolate rice and cheddar cheese. I tried the chocolate rice the previous time and it's like a flavour that just cannot go wrong since chocolate. This kaya cheese one was a bit different and a bit odd? But also worked since it was a bit sweet but also a bit savoury and also warm but a bit cold because of the cheese and kaya? Idk. Something new aside from the run-off-the-mill waffles and pancakes.

The sambal really has that kick too. They're having an opening promotion now where you get a free drink for every meal ordered which is damn worth it also? I got the iced matcha latte which was yum because it's not too much milk and the matcha taste was strong enough. Feel like when I go back again I'll just order this combination cause I'm not an adventurous person and will stick to what I know is good 😅 And I would go back for this lah cause I luv Montigo's ayam panggang berempah but it's not like I can go to Montigo so easily just for a meal (even though it is a short ferry ride away but it's also $48 round trip which is not very worth just for one meal amiright)

Can't exactly remember what style I got now, but I added so much meat (they even have prosciutto leh) the base couldn't even hold its weight 😅 It was SO good though, plus v worth it at $13.90. Wish they had more veggies available then so I would feel less unhealthy 😬 Can't go wrong with pizza, but it did give me a terrible food coma when I had to continue doing work into the night. They do have a pasta option though, and I think the pizza would be a good sharing portion!

Anyway, I recently had pho at Mrs Pho in Singapore (for the avoidance of doubt..). The special beef pho was nubbad and I really liked the fried pork spring rolls (we ordered 3 portions in total - each portion has 3 spring rolls)! Loved their fish sauce as well which cuts through the grease of the fried food. Service is prompt and quick so even if you have it for lunch on weekdays I would imagine quite a quick turnover.

The beef came with a pesto sauce, roasted handcut potato wedges and a sunny side up. The beef was tender at medium rare and the pesto sauce was quite raw in the sense that it wasn't over-flavoured. I chose the bufala mozza as my appetizer and was surprised to see this huge plate of Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella served 😍😍 The portion allowed me to roll pieces of buffalo mozzarella in the Parma ham which is, I think, a good way to consume this dish. The ham was a tad salty but the clean mozzarella countered that well. It's called the Tri-tip and is the main in the lunch set that I got when I went like a month plus back. It's essentially sliced beef (the tri-tip) with a coffee crust and two sauces, with this crispy vegetables that I suspect is brussel sprouts?? I don't really know what that crispy vegetable is but it was SO good - slightly charred and crispy like potato chips. And the beef was tender and went well with the vegetables and sauces. I added on the garlic fried rice (at an extra charge) which was not bad. I think ordering their beef is a good call. They also have beef foie gras don as an a la carte option which my brother had (I didn't try) but I think I'd rather go for the Tri-tip again next time!! This sounded better on the menu and in my mind I kind of expected pan seared foie gras rather than a pate kind of thing. It didn't have that wow factor but it was ok in terms of taste.
