Best Indian Joint
Though being a small corner joint, for me ABC Restaurant on cavan road serves one of the best parota and chicken curry in Lavendar area. The parota is freshly made to order and its crisp and cruncy on the outside with the middle being soft and nicely cooked. I love the fact that they use less oil to cook their dishes so I can eat as many as I want. Their parotas goes well with chicken or mutton (lamb) curry or with their dalcha. I order mine with curry chicken with a side of egg masala.
Pro Tip: The place is open almost 24 hours so mid night cravings for people living in and around Lavendar can enjoy their food and amazing ginger tea.
Being there for the first time I was really impressed by the ambience. Food came quick which was a plus. We order the Biriyani rice which was nice and went really well with the mutton sukha and the kerala fish curry (which was one of my favorite dishes). Overall really nice indian food.
Protip: Please make reservation as the place gets crowded and try the fish head curry as well.
Although food looked really nice when theu were serving it, it lacked the punch I was expecting. The chicken was tender and the vegies was flavorful. Overall a ok venue to go to. Price is a bit on the higher side.
Had this place on my wishlist since a couple of weeks. Finally me and my gf went to this small coztly hawker style place. We ordered their special Keema and hot chapati. It was really mouth smaking good. One of the best Indian joints ever. Chapati was fresh and the keema was just right in spices. Highly recommended.
