Sabah Food Hunting
The place is about 3 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu and it's located at Kundasang, a place that produce its own milk from cows and goats. The view is priceless but however all the cows were kept at the barn, which we only can see from far away. The milk come with variety of flavour, which is original, chocolate and coffee flavour. Love the taste. And also their gelato, which told that made by cow's milk, come with original and chocolate flavour.
Located at Gaya street, they are serving noodles, porridge, tong shui, pau and buns. Photo in frame: Butter milk bun aka polo bun (RM1.20 per pcs). They open their business since 5.30am until afternoon. A good place for breakfast. Their drinks are good too. And also their sang yuk bao (non halal).
This shop had been opened since 1982 until now and claimed that it is the first shop which are selling Sang Nyuk Mian in Kota Kinabalu. Photo in frame, Sang Nyuk Mian in soup (RM7.50) and the noodles can be choose. For my own choice, yellow noodle is nicer when serve in soup. If you prefer dry Sang Nyuk Mian, you can try their flat rice noodles mix with yellow noodles. With the enormous portion of pork soupy goodness, I think that the price is quite reasonable. For those who are prefer stronger taste, add on their chili sauce into the soup to satisfy your taste buds.
