This was the NZ Striploin ($17.90) that came with two sides of your choice. I had the baked potato and sesame spinach salad that were quite impressive. Also ordered a side of calamari ($5.50) which were really fried to perfection. I would recommend throwing in just like an extra few dollars for the NZ Ribeye and for the sides, skip the spinach cream and maybe opt for the crunchy potato salad cause that was absolutely delicious. All in all, a fantastic place for cheap steaks. Will be back to try the poultry!
Tried both the spicy and non-spicy versions ($13.50++) and it was absolutely delicious. Both the pork and chicken cutlets were fried perfectly with a crunchy and crispy exterior without any icky oiliness. The meat was absolutely tender with flavorful juices intact. 10/10 would recommend!
Beautiful midtown burger ($19.50) that comprised on a thick, juicy and delicious medium rare beef patty sandwiched with crunchy lettuce, sweet caramelised onions and cheese between two perfectly toasted buns. Wished the pickle was a little more crunchy tho. Also, shout out to those crispy hand-cut fries!
First, I gotta say that this is one beautiful fudgey brownie that's altogether rich, soft and moist but with a crisp layer at the top for some extra crunch and texture. We got the earl grey and pistachio to go along with our brownie and the lightness of the earl grey was perfectly balanced with the rich creaminess of the pistachio. Best Friday night treat!
Superb sticky date pudding ($10) that is perfectly balanced between lightness and density accompanied by a wonderful and creamy vanilla ice cream to balance the sweetness of the dish. Sweetest end to a perfect meal (& literally a bit too sweet for my friends)
Got one of the signature waffles ($15.90) that was composed of a rose waffle, 2 scoops of lychee sorbet but we changed one out for caramel nut (?? cant really remember), frozen raspberries, lychees and a macaron. Nothing really memorable here except for their disastrous cheesecake ($4.50). I would probably come back again to try their hot dishes and to enjoy the ambiance which I must say is absolutely beautiful.
Tried the seasonal special Yuzu Cheesecake ($9++) and the original Mille crepe ($9++). Reaffirmed my faith in Lady M to deliver impeccable cakes! Yuzu Cheesecake came on a beautifully baked sponge and was a perfect balance between the richness of the cheese and the citrus of the Yuzu!
Absolutely everything you could possibly ask for from a chocolate soufflé. Was so good we ordered another!
Tried the classic, lychee and matcha tiramisu which were about $7.20/ea (can't remember the exact price). The classic was okay at best but the lychee was way too soggy for my liking and the matcha could hardly be tasted. However, 2/4 friends like the lychee so to each his own!
Finally got my hands on the choux puffs here in matcha and vanilla ($4+/ea)! Apart from the generous filling, I was definitely impressed by the fact that the creaminess of the filling did not cause any jialat-ness. The textures of the puff itself was also amazing. Quick tip: go for the matcha and I kinda feel like u can skip vanilla unless you're a fan. Btw, pls don't buy the tamago sets, was sincerely disappointed.
Tried the matcha tart ($6.90) and the apple crumble ($??) which were decent but nothing exceptional. Matcha tart tended towards the sweeter side while the crumble lacked texture. Still pretty alright tho.
Tried the tsuba parfait with egglets and Nutella drizzle ($10.70) and the Nutella matcha combination was super bomb. Matcha soft serve here is creamy but light which was perfect with the accompaniment of chewy egglets and sweet Nutella! I personally prefer the rich matcha soft serve flavour from matchaya tho!
