Korean Fares 🇰🇷🍲 (but I wonder how they'd actually taste in its native lands?)
Beef soup was generous with beef slices but could have been slightly more flavourful! 🐄🍲🍚
Tofu stew was really quite bland bland if not for the slight clam taste; I'd say skip this 😶😐😔
Jjampong was a tad seafoody (or fishy, just slightly) and mild-spicy. Noodles were slurpin' good tho 🍤🥘🍜
Japchae was akin to a wok-hei savoury bibim myeon, mildly spicy with a slight overdose of sesame oil, but I like sesame oil so it's kay 😌👌🏼♥️🍝🌶
They say it's black bean noodles but they taste like black pork belly noodles instead? 🤔 No worries, Jinjja chicken is halal certified! 😄😅 $7.90 excl. Gst
Soy garlic tasted as good as 4fingers'! "Monster" spicier than the normal spicy, tastes slightly different from 4fingers, less of that soy taste more honey or sweetie taste?
Soyammy! Tasted like 4 fingers'! The only difference was the size/wt. of the serving of the tofu and the sprinkle of sesame seeds. While 4fingers are in rectangular thick blocks (akin to your whole butter blocks/slabs) these one's are flatter and more squarish! Oh and you can order without rice so it's cheaper than 4fingers! @$3.50
This was better than the crab & roe version. A sprinkle of sesame seeds, a bed of shredded seaweed, a side of kimchi, a helping of tuna and a dollop of mayo! Nice la; how can you go wrong with such a combi! 😜🙂🙂😋
That slight sweetness of the crab meat 😜😝😋 went rather well with the mix of crispy shredded seaweed, a scoop of roe, furikake? And a dollop of mayo! Best part of this was witnessing my friend having so much fun rolling them!
Spicy Korean buckwheat noodles; served slightly cold (on purpose); Taste-wise quite subpar, in fact I found the taste of the sesame oil a lil too overwhelming 😅 nothing 2 special sadly 😪🤐
A soft, moist and a tad sweet omelette with stretchy mozarella $9.80 (excl. service charges & gst); anyone can do this at the comfort of his/her own home imo (with the right honey mustard sauce, of course!)
