The beef slices were very tender (a tad bit flavourless) and the noodle and soup were so so good??? A more hipster pho alternative compared to Nam nam! Sushi is super common in Singapore, but vegan sushi is rather rare! But for vegans out there, fret not cuz Real Food recently launched their vegan sushi! The salmon like sushi is actually red pepper in disguise, and other options include corn, cucumber, tomato and mushrooms! The only thing similar to the common ones out there is probably the Inari sushi 😂 But the most unique part of this plate is probably how the rice is replaced with brown rice and barley for a healthier option! The intensity of amount of green colour of the dish may appear a little overwhelming but taste wise, it packs much herb flavour without being too pungent. The sprinkle of feta cheese adds to the creaminess of the pasta (who knew pesto sauce could be made to taste so good??), which is a rather surprising combination in my opinion. The potatoes cubes mashed into the pasta is a little weird (like carb in carb), but I really like the crunchy grilled cucumber slices in it. The shoyu tuna was really well marinated and I particularly loved the tanginess from the pineapple! The quinoa and the crispy salmon skin add on, however, could afford to be more flavourful.
