Making a more than a yearly come back, this much loved & appreciated @tsujirihei_honten has enthusiast religiously visiting them and yearning for an outlet here. Rich, intense with a bitter aroma it’s just a pleasure having it yearly, treasure it while they’re still here. .

Here’s an ACAMASTIP; they have both matcha and hojicha but order the mix where you can have the best of both worlds. And please this ain’t the same Tsijiri we have in town. The standards and quality are miles away & one shouldn’t even try to compare. PS: @matchayasg is having a pop-up at @ion_orchard for Singapore Tea Festival if you are around the area and crave awesome matcha another alternative! They have other seasonal flavours too! .

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: Probably the most standard sticky date pudding around, reliable but not comparable. Especially to the likes of the ones at Artichoke @artichoke_sg and The Lokal @thelokalsingapore . Smooth and not so sweet vanilla bean ice cream, the sticky date pudding wasn’t dry and pretty tasty.

Gosh, one come to a point that’s challenging to describe about food. There’s only this amount of vocabulary, the Pudding was fragrant and moist, moist?! Cut to the chase, it was decently satisfying.

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: Good Lord, this is one of the best pudding I had in eons besides @thelokalsingapore . The photo doesn’t do the dessert justice but trust me just this once and take the leap of faith to order this “Fu*ck it’s Delicious” dessert. .

It doesn’t give you diabetes like how the other puddings do, the pudding pairs so damn well with the Dulce de Leche custard, cashew brittle and espresso agar each providing different textures but the wow factor came from the brilliance of adding salt. Slam dunk dude.

The only downside is that it’s not cheesy enough. Their Double Cheese Cake (💵S$7.50/slice, 💵S$23.50 for 12cm Cake) will fare better if you prefer your cake to be more cheesy.

Definitely get their freshly baked financiers whenever you have a chance, there’s just something comforting about having a fresh, warm, moist and buttery pastry. The matcha and chocolate flavours are good, original is the best.

ACAMASEATS & GTK💮: In their new line of ice cream cake, is this well balanced Tropical Addiction, both citrusy and sweet. It ain’t easy making these cakes due to the different temperatures, ice creams/sorbets and ingredients used but Apiary has pulled it off nonetheless.

Get all the components in a spoonful for the full experience, the creaminess of the coconut ice cream and Italian meringue compliments the fruit sorbets extremely well with the almond dacquoise giving it a different texture and a nutty flavour. .

There’s another plated dessert called “Bali Starling Eggs” specially crafted to create awareness for an endangered species of bird. Keep a lookout!

Thought the plating is beautiful and yes we do eat with our eyes first which makes one anticipate even more. However the donut is a little tough and dry, got excited about the crushed Tim Tam’s but can’t taste anything maybe it’s crushed that’s why but what’s the point, the ice cream, normal. The service is good though.

Not being crispy enough is a cardinal sin by itself, the buttermilk has little to no flavour, coupled with a few sad pieces of wine poached pear, the crunchy walnut and decent vanilla bean ice cream is the only redeeming factor. But truth be told, where can I get ice cream with waffles at 12 am?
