Sri Petaling Eats

In the land of Sri petaling lies hidden a cafe which is black yet mysterious but it's the land that many people will treasure as it brought life to every individual that walk in to those gates as they have the elixir of life which is their well brewed coffee!!
Yes folks! This is the place to go for coffee and it has been buzzing from the dawn of time!( their opening)
Currently they are running a tea time promotion that works with every purchase of a beverage either coffee or tea and the food would be discounted.. Their menu is really diverse with interesting yet delicious flavour combination and relatively affordable price.. The ambience of this whole cafe is really relaxing even though it's constantly overflowing with people yet you can enjoy your well made coffee comfortably.. For tea time, we had the Strawberyy Latte (RM13.90) &a Cold brew (RM14.90) which is really interesting as it's our first time trying out their coffee creations.. The service is impeccably fast but sadly they didn't really explain the steps in enjoying the strawberry latte to their guest.. In terms of taste, the strawberry latte when mixed with their espresso and milk brought out a tinge of strawberry pink to the drink but in taste wise; it has a great balance with acidity, bitterness of the coffee, the tannin alongside the sweetness and slightly tart notes from the strawberry.. It is still enjoyable for a coolant on a hot day.. Whereas their cold brew is really packaged like a medicine bottle and the strong hit of the caffeine is really powerful and overwhelming but the tannin is really mild as the aftertaste of the roasted berries is really subtle..

This place is a household name for creative soft serve with a Malaysian twist in it! It's our first time coming here & also to try out the ever elusive soft serve that makes people line up just to get a cup to enjoy. The shop itself has the same layout with the mothership ( damansara uptown) and the people there are so ever inviting and helpful in the decoding process of which to take.. Finally I've taken the liberty to try out the breakfast which is their signature and it was rather speedy as it took less than 15 minutes to reach us with the cone of cold smoke making a grand entrance that is decorated with cornflakes surrounding it and a strawberry to finish up the look! It was really creamy and soft and the cornflakes does reminds me of having it for breakfast minus the milk and it lends a dimension of texture that usually we eat with sundaes with a sprinkle of nuts and fruits and that is the role of the cornflakes and the strawberry which gives it sweetness and tang to the soft serve! Really delicious and I wouldn't mind having it for dinner

Everyday is a Dream day if you have a fantastic yet crunchy Churros! No fret because in the Sri petaling area, there is a row of shop lot that houses this temple for the Churros lover.. It's really true that to get a nicely done Churros poses a challenge as the ones that I tried which doesn't have the wow factor which makes you crave more for it. I'm really thankful that I've finally found the one which makes me go more for it and could literally say we fight for it until the last bite! It's that amazing! Back to the Churros, this is actually a few Churros being bend like a horse shoe shape but the ends meet and it's being plated like the petals of flowers that centers around a scoop of vanilla ice cream and its completed with the rain of chocolate sauce! It's totally amazing and delicious as the Churros is crispy, light and airy not too oily and goes well with the chocolate sauce and forget to mention they have coco crunch added in as well! Really an awesome plate of fried decadent treat! Planning a visit for their other Churros desserts 😘

In a small area known as Sri Petaling, you would now see a stretch of shops hosting the likes of inside scoop, coffea coffee and many more but there is a hidden shop that is opposite of the shire cafe which home to a pork frenzy menu called the Wayne's cafe! Have been eyeing on this place for sometime after drooling over their pork infested Instagram feed.. Really excited to try out their famous dish which is the Roast pork which is the talk of the town and the proof is in the pudding! The service was really attentive and speedy considering it was quiet.. The roast pork sashay to the table looking as beautiful and glistening to our eyes with that perfect proportions of fat, meat and that crackling ratio! The pork it's self is really juicy and moist and it was cooked to perfection and not forgetting that oh so good crispy pork crackling which just makes wonderful music to your ears that just give you chills down your spine and orgasm when you're eating it!! Really good with that apple chutney and the sauce is light yet seasoned well.. A must try dish!
